What Junkerde said. Looks like Cloverfield reboot. Needed a more natural, organic looking enemy, like a mantis, spider,etc. Can only hope for some TOHO surprise like Rodan or Mothra...lol. This design isnt exciting..or believeable if this is supposed to be a realistic grim account of the godzilla story. I think the two MUTO toys are the same species, one male and female, one one of them flies. Lets hope the other Mutos are better. Remember color, these are dark and red. The flying muto seen diving in ocean, cutting into train, and knocking chopper out of the sky is grey!

Well, we went from being able to use state-of-the-art CGI to make godzilla NOT look like a guy in a suit anymore, and cancel that out by making a CGI MUTO that looks like it COULD be a guy in a suit. I'm sure it will look better on screen but I was expecting something more organic looking like a mantis, spider, etc. Still seems like a Cloverfield rip-off to me... Show me something new and fresh... I've seen this before.
What is the name to the last monster Godzilla is going to fight? I thought that the eight-legged muto was the red monster. IDK if im right but correct me please cause i want to know!!!

um.. guys this is also available to pre order on www.monsterislandtoys.com as well for around 70-80 bucks. by the way anyone notice anything different besides me godzilla is grey not a redish tan color like the official godzilla empire magazine has on their cover.

wow, i dont know about you guys, but I find this incredibly lazy and uninspiring designed. THey just plopped wings on from the previous MUTO. They are ok though, but seriously, this kind of makes me question their designs if there are ever any future movies, this is some incredibly lazy shit. I actually don't want original monsters if they are pulling shit like this. Again they arent bad looking, but man they really did nothing to differentiate these 2 forms except for wings.
I want a third monster. If Godzilla fights three monsters at the same time, and beats them, it will show how tough, strong, and just plain awesome he is.

my theory is that the mutos sucked most of his radiation out and that is why he is walking slow because his energy is low

To all regarding my post. I also would hope it's not a mating scene, that really would be TMI. But, they stress he is a male. And something crazy is happening at the HALO jump sequence. There's a vid on Youtube of some dudes accross the pond that note they were there at the 20-minute veiwing and they made an off-hand comment (with a smile on their faces) that how could they do that to us, indicating you didnt see that one coming. So...insert your theory here__________________.
yeah winged muto and 8 legged muto are different
for anyone who had trouble seeing it, i know i did at first
if these two monsters are a: male and female of the same species, or b: one is more advanced than the other but they are still the same species, well then does it count as only one of the two monsters, because that would mean the mutos are a "type" of monster. in that case, the second monster could be something totally different, and it could be what everyone at the 2o min preview was so excited about.

Godzillasaurus.. Not sure where that "reveal" post went. Maybe Mods did something with it or it has to be approved? I've seen/had some posts not even posted if there is already a similar thread posted. Seeing I posted only a few minutes after Mecha-Gojira originally posted the new flying muto pic, I see no reason why my discussion should not have been posted. Anyway, it was just what I believed this new toy pic reveals and what I made of some recent info regarding a leaked script and comments made during the recent 20-minute showing.

Did you read my last post? I stated a possible hypothesis about the significance of the Mutos and how it could be a real danger for Godzilla and all the living things of this planet. However, I also said that we will need to wait until May to see the true.
