I agree Junkerde, at this point everyone's going to fly off the handle with new information about what happened last night. If it were up to me I'd file (or merge if that were an option) it all way in one single thread. Unfortunately I don't even know what the original thread was anymore.

But I do agree we've had enough new threads about last night, what happened at SXSW, the interveiws regarding it, the pictures during it, the reactions around it...etc...etc...

Lets refrain from making any new ones fellas.

Game developers should never actually plan to have DLC in a game, any ideas they have while making a game should be included in the game itself. The only thing DLC should be used for is to add new content that they think of after the game is released or when it is too late to add anything new to the game.

Well they cant spoil everything this early right? I still believe there might be a monster the size of Godzilla in this movie.

Just so you all know, I made this before the description of the SXSW footage came out. Now it looks like the mutos, or "Hokmuto" as they are now called, really are the only monsters in the film :( I am dissapoint. That still doesn't make sense to me, how could that tiny little thing be such a threat to Godzilla that it forces him to leave the ocean?

EDIT: Also, all information we have so far seems to indicate that the "centipede monster," if it was ever meant to be in the film in the first place, was replaced by Hokmuto.

Guys this is a new member, he probably just missheard a sound assuming it to be Godzilla's roar, im sorry for being mean, but its just that, sometimes new members might just need to be a little more bright I guess

Akagi, idk man, I like the 1954 design, much more than half of all the Godzilla designs, and sorry but I wouldve voted 1954 myself as well, cuz right when I saw it I looked right where to vote it but realized it was too late.

And dont worry I understand what u mean that we have plenty of Godzilla 1954 figures already, thats totally true, which means to me that I wouldnt even mind if they dont make a SH Monster Arts version, mostly because I dont buy them haha im not that rich.

I think some monsters that should already be in the game are Zilla, Monster X, Hedorah and Godzilla 2014 and also including all monsters already in the game. the monsters that should be DLC should be Gezora, Manda, Kumonga and maybe if possible Clover because he's kinda cool despite what people say.

Hmmm considering the ending of "monsters" was supposed to be 'sad and somber', I can see Godzilla ending similarly. Lets not assume this means anyone is going to die, right off the bat. Lets not take this at face value. 

There is a good chance that there will be a 'assumed' death of godzilla, hell that scene where he turns and roars from the trailer could be from the ending of the film, or the after credits.

Argh, this is where I have like little to no faith in my fellow fan. Why is Godzilla 54 at the top of the voting? Seriously? We have plenty of Good Godzilla 54 figures, its been done to death, and I'll say something that'll probably make people hate me... but its not even remotely the best Godzilla design.

You do realize that Movie based video games on consoles are pretty much dead right? Toho wouldn't even approve that much money to be put into the pipeworks games. Toho hated the idea of more than 5-10 mill being spent on a film, let alone a game. It costs over 20 million to make an Xboxone game, and the xboxone is doing horribly as far as sales go, they aren't even in Japan... so a Godzilla game on it is pretty... pointless really. 

Its taking japan just now to start making liscensed tokusatsu oriented games for the PS3.

If we get a console Godzilla game, expect it on a last gen console, or a mid level console or handheld. But I doubt we will.

Anyone who actually follows the gaming market would know the horrible state its in, it costs way to much to make games anymore, no one wants to take a risk, and obviously Unleashed didn't do well enough to warrant a sequel. Nor would I want Pipeworks or Simon Strange working on another godzilla game.

If we get anything, its going to be a crap cellphone game and maybe an xboxlive arcade or playstation store game, if we are lucky-- and I doubt we will be. 

Sorry folks. The only films that get movie games any more are triple A block busters like Spiderman or Transformers.

There will probably never be a big, triple A, big budget Godzilla game. If there is, it'll only happen because this new movie does well. So you better hope it does well.

I hope they make another godzilla game for the consoles because i have been waiting for so long for them to make it, and now that godzilla 2014 is coming i hope that it will be in the mind of toho or at least they will see our comments and grant our wishes.

I loved the battle between Godzilla and Zilla in Rulers of the earth. I think he would do just fine in another Godzilla game for the consoles, I mean he is pretty fast compared to other monsters and can dig underground like Baragon.

on a note, this is fantastic. However as another said. The jaw should be paralleled. Otherwise FANTASTIC.
