just looking back on everything gareth edwards has given full respect to the source material of godzilla and has definitly taken it seriously. i was wondering if at the beginning of the movie that we might see something like this

this film is dedicated to the godzilla team

ishoro honda

eiji tsuburaya

tomoyuki tanaka

and akira ifukube

what about you guys do you all think that gareth will dedicate this film to those guys?

@Dragonlord Tevin Ishiro Honda IS dead, he died in 1993 along with Raymond Burr who died on the exact same date he did.

Yeah, Honda, Tsuburaya, Ifukube and Tanaka, the team that brought the original to life have all passed away.. Along with a laundry list of others that were part of the original team.

And Shazo, Honda died in February of '93, Burr died in September.

Godzilla 2014@ O my god(zilla)! Its my twin! And welcome to the forums brozilla! Oh and you make your on discussions by clicking forum on the top of the page underneath trailer and then once you click on it and open to the forums page were it shows all the comments there should be a photo of godzilla or his tail and it says "Start your own discussion :D

Yeah guys, all of Godzilla's "Founding Fathers" have been dead for a long time, some longer than others. Tsuburaya passed in 1970, Honda in 1993 (several days after I was born), Tanaka in 1997, and Ifukube in 2006. A dedication would be very appropriate, very special, and very appreciated. :)
