MemberMothra LarvaeMar-12-2014 2:53 PMJust browsing through google for some news, cuz I always do, and then i came across this right here:
So according to this website http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/12/godzilla-bryan-cranston_n_4949336.html# (click on this link for more stuff), it does seem like it could be true by the way theyre saying it.
So what do you guys think thats gonna be sad at the end? Godzilla will die? A human character that we'll care so much about will die? The world will fall into destruction? But I just hope Godzilla wont die yet, I wont just be sad, but will be pissed off lol. But yeah wat do u guys think will happen?

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-12-2014 4:15 PMCranston character Brody dies......joins his wife in the afterlife. The whole movie is geared toward a disgraced man who does a heroic deed that cements his legacy as a great person or hero......sigh.......lol........Godzilla on the other hand lives.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-12-2014 5:19 PMHmmm considering the ending of "monsters" was supposed to be 'sad and somber', I can see Godzilla ending similarly. Lets not assume this means anyone is going to die, right off the bat. Lets not take this at face value.
There is a good chance that there will be a 'assumed' death of godzilla, hell that scene where he turns and roars from the trailer could be from the ending of the film, or the after credits.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-12-2014 9:39 PMLet's think about this a bit, where does the sadness in the ending of Gojira come from? Is it from Godzilla's death, or Serizawa's? Remember, this film is focused on a more human aspect, meaning that the death of a noble character could be what he means.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-13-2014 1:13 AMEdwards is only mentioning his admiration to the original movie, but in any moment he even try to say that the new movie will end like the first one.
However, IF there would be a sad end, I think that it will be better if one important character die in a heroic form, maybe even helping Godzilla (directly or indirectly) to defeat the final Muto and saving the humanity in the procese. But, this is just speculation.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-13-2014 4:38 AMI have a feeling that while the ending may be sad/soursweet, i also think its going to have a, im looking for the right words, epic, yeah an epic ending of Godzilla returning to the ocean. That togheter with an ending simmiliar to the original.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-13-2014 12:06 PMI wouldn't take this at face value. It comes from the internet, and the chances that it's actually based on fact is very, very small. I'd prefer to wait to judge the ending of the movie until I actually see it. It only makes sense after all.
Besides, Gareth Edwards himself said that he wanted to 'end on a high' for this film.
I'd say that means he has a bombtastic ending in store for us. I'll trust Gareth Edwards before I trust a random picture from the internet, regardless of where it came from.
