Advice, then?
I wrote a humorous reply a few pages back, but I'm glad to see some other pentagenarians here also!
I remember watching "Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster" as a child @ my mother's friend's house. I was actually able to talk two grown women into letting me put it on the TV.
...they laughed the entire time...
@Something Real: 25 is not nearly "Hag-worthy", lol...
Also, here is the description from Legendary:
"In 1954, we awakened something..."
To pave the way for Godzilla's return to the big screen, Legendary Comics proudly presents the official graphic novel Godzilla: Awakening. Today, we are excited to reveal the King of the Monsters in all his glory, as we unveil the cover featuring exclusive artwork by acclaimed Godzilla artist Arthur Adams. This 80-page story, set decades before the film, is co-written by Max Borenstein (screenwriter of the new Godzilla) and Greg Borenstein. Godzilla: Awakening hits comic book stores May 7, 2014... pre-order your copy today!
In 50 days, the King rises! :D
Or that could just be the intense flames
From what we've seen in the trailer, it seems to create some sort of energy shockwave when it strikes things.

How do you post pictures to this thing?! Lol. Does look incredibly awesome. Love the different color. We must have really bombarded G into becoming that charcoal color

There you go! :)
HOLY Y&IRT&#IHGUIRHE*FY*(Y#*(@YR*#OR RWIFE*@*(, THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Art Adams is THE MAN!!!! I cannot wait to read this thing!!!! :D
That is bloody awesome.
I believe the MUTO weapon will be some sort of high-noise/super-sonic boom/EMP type weapon. You can hear a very organic type noise in the international trailer while the kids are running away from the school and the HALO jump. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.
@KYORAH16 nah it's alright, idea's great just need some touch ups here and there
Yes I have seen the daimajin films many times and still like to watch them now and then.
The 3 movies are all very good. Got them on blu ray. Can't wait for the gamera show movies on blu ray!
offtopic, just wanted to point out a similarity like in pacific rim, i forget the name of the kaiju but it also had emp blast, i mean nothing out there, just what i remember, offtopic not relating to this discussion just an observation

No it will be unique to them. I believe it was mentioned by ign that its going to be an EMP type of weapon which is what causes the Janjira power plant to start shutting down at the begining of the film. Also if you rewatch the trailers all of the jets that drop from the sky have no damage which would suggest EMP.
I think anyone who's wanted a truly serious take on this iconic movie monster will be very pleased. The only people who might be disappointed are those who want to see the cheesiness of the old movies.
Atomic Breath, no. A different kind of ranged energy weapon. Maybe. It would be cool if Muto were to shoot a lazer or radiation blast or Oxyegen Destroyer Ray or electricity or sonic screech or fire or acid or what ever.
SKRE, you can definitely keep it, but if anyone asks about it, send them my way lol. I don't have deviant art, just a website i'm still currently building. Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Amazing..But he forgot to colours the claws, the chest, and his underbelly..still a good job tho
Turned 28 yesterday
This is a great moment in Godzilla fan history. Also Daikaiju_Danielle, I love the gif at the top. It is awesome.
There's always possibility for disappointment and some of us will, no doubt, be disappointed. However, I feel that if you don't go into this movie with an open mind, then you sre setting yourself up for disappointment and even a good movie will full short of expectation. Last week, I sopke to another G fan who worked at a comic book store and he was waxing poetic about who he will see the movie, but he isn't holding out hopes for a satisfying experiance. I didn't tell him this, but with that attitude, he might as well save his money because he just isn't giving Edwards and Legendary a fair shake. Don't be that guy. Go into it with open minded and if it disappoints, well it is just a movie.
My wife reminds me constantly that I'm a nerd, geek, dork, what-have-you. But she is too and honestly, I can't imagine not surrounding myself with people who show a great amount of enthusiasm for whatever subject (which is what being a geek or nerd is all about). The people I feel are truly weird are those who can't seem accept their desire to be passioniate about something b/c of fear of judgement and in turn, pass judgement on those who aren't afraid. I literally wear my passions on my sleeves (via tattoos) and I feel sorry (so so sorry!) for anyone who can not be comfortable enough in their own skin.
this is the only plausible explanation
These inspired me to try one of my own! Which isn't great....

My parents bought me the Jakks Pacific Giant Godzilla for my birthday and just this morning, my wife tripped on the tail. So she's excited.
