Muto to have a atomic breath in film?

Atomic Breath, no. A different kind of ranged energy weapon. Maybe. It would be cool if Muto were to shoot a lazer or radiation blast or Oxyegen Destroyer Ray or electricity or sonic screech or fire or acid or what ever.

No it will be unique to them. I believe it was mentioned by ign that its going to be an EMP type of weapon which is what causes the Janjira power plant to start shutting down at the begining of the film. Also if you rewatch the trailers all of the jets that drop from the sky have no damage which would suggest EMP. 

offtopic, just wanted to point out a similarity like in pacific rim, i forget the name of the kaiju but it also had emp blast, i mean nothing out there, just what i remember, offtopic not relating to this discussion just an observation

I believe the MUTO weapon will be some sort of high-noise/super-sonic boom/EMP type weapon. You can hear a very organic type noise in the international trailer while the kids are running away from the school and the HALO jump. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

From what we've seen in the trailer, it seems to create some sort of energy shockwave when it strikes things.

Whoa! i just noticed if you look at the GIF you can see what looks like giant hand hanging down, just to the left of the 2 lights in the top right of the screen. Anyone else seeing that??
