Just my opinion but for a whole year we complained and moaned about not getting any promo for this movie. Even to the point where some people tossed around the idea to sign a petition to express your outrage. Now here we are just a moth and a half from released and we're being treated to all kinds of awesome images of the movie. Some are extensions of what we've already seen several times already and others are very brief glimpses of new footage. Nothing spoiler worthy and I'm loving it. I say keep em coming. I doubt that a movie as epic as this can be ruined with breif tv spots before release. It's been my experience that big movies don't normally show spoiler type stuff til after the film's release via tv spots. But if you're worried about being spoiled just don't select any topics about the movie that may contain spoilers. Also if a tv spot comes on change the station. There's ways around this everyone. Just use some restraint it's not that hard.
@WOLFGUY Very interseting idea about Godzilla on all fours.
thats a flying muto!!! You could tell by its teeth.its the same as the toy
HOLY CRAP THose IS FRIGGN EPIC !!!!!
Heisei is a mutated dinosaur and the mutant dinosaur story only applies to Heisei.
@Bigbadben
Okay, thanks dude. :) I'll keep at it. I love drawing.
Also....
Could you try drawing Destroyah?
And I know you might not like him and everyone might hate him but.... would you CONSIDER drawing.... say, Zilla?
I'd definitely say it looks more like his hand. Perhaps he was knocked down by a MUTO or military attack. That, or maybe we'll see some instances of Godzilla on all fours. His arms are already longer than any Godzilla we've seen, and Edwards has said Godzilla is very bear-like in his movement and attacks.
@JOAOML02 I think we'll see most if not all of it, but it will constantly be like us either looking up or down on them. Pretty sure Edwards has simply stated it'll never be like we're on eye level with these beasts. Kind of how they did most shots in the likes of Godzilla 85 and GvBiollante.
Slowed teh footage down, Get a better shot at what looks like Godzilla rising from the ground
@dinozilla0439
keep at it man it takes alot of practice and alot of patience to create masterpieces like these you see here i have already gotten my 6 year old nephew interested in drawing just because of the godzilla images you see here and the others i posted yesterday. Like i have said if you can dream it, you can achieve it :)
Man, I wish I could draw like that! You draw all of them so well. I've tried and they don't turn out nearly as good as that.
if anyone here on this site has some recomendations on your favorite kaijus please feel free to name them and i will do my best to draw them like what you see here ;)
@Bigbadben
Yeah, I just left a comment on there. ;)
thanks dinozilla0439 i am glad you like them ;)
i did a whole other topic about this but not similar to what godzillafan1995 is saying i also suggested that both the original gojira like this new godzilla is are both already exsisting creatures ;)

by the way everyone i just posted up some more of my drawings hope you all like them :)
Like the others, these are amazing. :)
yeah i know i hate to see how everyone is going to react when only 1 day is left lol ;)
@Bigbadben
Okay. Thanks, man. :)
hope you all enjoy ;)
that one above is kaiser ghidorah and now my unfinished godzilla 1991 drawing with some buildings i still need to add detail to this one but why not go ahead and share ;)

hey there buddy dont worry about it we still have less than 2 months before the movie besides it is going all across the united states and other countries so relax and enjoy this ride while it still lasts :)
Are there any screenshots going up from either tv spots??
First off, my favorite look from the heisei series is melting down aka burning godzilla, and I already have the S.h. monsterarts one. As for this figure, I think it looks pretty good, the head looks slighty off, but I like the detailing and the skin texture has a cool shine too it. I don't think I'll be getting it, but I like it.
Now, I know this thread is more about this specific figure, but there are other figures I would really like to see in the future. Either from NECA or S.H. Monster Arts, but I prefere NECA cuz' they're cheaper. (Yes, I'm that kind of Fan.)
1) Godzilla 1954 - The original Godzilla. The only figure I have is a tiny little candy capsule that you put together. I really like the look of the original, and I don't feel like any of the normal bandai figures have done it justice. Plus, it's the 60th Anniversary, so why not?
2) King Ghidorah 1964 - The very first appearance by the big KG, this is my favorite version of King Ghidorah. I haven't really seen a toy version of it that impresses me, unless you count the 1989 bandai figure, and the large gigabrain. Still, I think this would be a great version to as a highly articulated figure.
3) Godzilla 2002-2003 - AKA Kiryu-Goji, this is a very cool looking Godzilla, and one of my favorites. I know it looks a lot like the millenium goji, but I think it's far enough in color that it suits a detailed figure. Plus, it could go with the Kiryu figure that was just released.
4) King Seesar 74 - This would be really cool, cause' King Seesar is BA.
5) Megaguirus - Have wanted a good version of this creature FOREVA'. So yeah.
There's my wish list. I think the first one is a DEFINITE must, and one that fans would love. The others are more of a hopeful want.
That hand they shown at the end, makes me wonder if they wont be focusing too much on the human perspective, making it unable to show the full scale of the G vs MUTO battles (the main reason we fans are going to see this movie). I know that on the Empire interview, Gareth Edwards said that they would not sacrifice the entertainment value for artistic purposes, but I think that it could be disappointing mostly for diehard kaiju fans if only glimpses were shown the entire movie.
well at least your using the clip from the offical youtube page
it doesn't bother me, i'm just wondering out of curiosity
i don't need to watch GvsKK 91, i've already seen the movie about 4-10 times and i've watched the original about 5 times so i know the heisei's origins and the originals origin
Has anyone actually seen these TV spots on TV yet? Just curious, because I haven't.
@Gman
Sorry. Like I said, what worried me was the "There are no theaters in your area that will be playing Godzilla on May 16th." That was sort of what set me off, and the fact that there were tickets to The Amazing Spider-man already in theaters in my area confused me and added to it. Sorry I freaked out a bit. I just REALLY WANT to see it so I got carried away. I suppose I do need to chill. XD And thanks.
@Zillahater
Thanks, man! Like I said, I freaked out a bit there. I've known about this for awhile, so the fact that we keep getting TV spots and everything that keeps my excitement growing just kind of made me snap. Sorry. XD Appreciate the reassurances!
In the Heisei series, he is a mutated dinosaur but, I later figured out that in the 1954 version and the 2014 version was a creature awakened by nuclear bombs.
Yeah, Godzilla is a wide release. Of course it will be screening in theaters near everybody. Getting worried about this 43 days before its release is pretty silly.
Dont worry. Heck, i cant even buy tickets TASM 2, and its only fifteen days away where i live, but i still know its gonna be shown in my theater. There is nothing to fear, it will be shown at your theater.
@Chriszilla45,
That only applies to the Heisei Godzilla. The original Godzilla did not have the same origin.
Dinozilla,
I think you're getting ahead of yourself and worrying about nothing. The movie is still a month and a half away. It's unlikely that there will be showtimes just yet.
I believe tickets for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just recently went on sale which is why showtimes are up for it. As far as I know tickets have yet to go on sale for Godzilla, and even if they did without mention of a theater near you, chances are listings will spring up during the month of May.
It's only April 2nd. Chill.
