@sicopath , it's not that they've showen too much (even tho they technically have) it's more I wanted to see it in the theater, not a trailer. Same with that airport/tsunami scene!
Make the neck longer and done :D Other than that, it's look really awesome.
I don't think they've showed too much in the new trailer, and I did expect the wife to die since the main trailer was released. But we haven't seen the best moments and don't know anything else pretty much :D
that's really cool! I want one! !
I'm kinda mad about Legendary & Warner Bros. showing the Janjira facilaty and the Tsunami scene. But it's overgrown me. but TOO MUCH FOOTAGE!!
yeah and it confirms that it was a scrapped idea
well, I have a fealing Godzilla is gonna die. It's just a gut feeling. But if he doesn't, that'll be cool.
@Gojira2k
Yes it's in the article I linked in my post, and confirms the leaked script was real
Its more fun in person not when you type on a computer
dude that was funny
Nice find, Gojira2k!
If you don't want to spoil the movie for yourself, don't watch the trailers featuring new footage. Plain and simple.
Exactly BIGBADBEN. I think hes going finish off the mutos in an epic fashion and retreat back into the water battered but not beaten. From a movie stand point that leaves u a sequal open but also giving closure to this movie.
Of course I like what I've seen, I'm just doubtful that Edwards has returned the Godzilla character back to, quote-on-quote, "roots".
It sounds like the only "rooting" is in how Godzilla's being used-- as a metaphor for larger issues, which has been done with other films, especially GMK, vs. Biollante...etc...
This doesn't make me look forward to it any less, mind you. But I don't think the way Godzilla looks is an indication of his "roots". We'll see how the film plays out though.
What a design. Gareth, you and your team absolutely nailed Godzilla's look. He's properly stocky - talk about a design that conveys absolute sheer power! Love it.
you know it does look like godzilla got injected with steroids XD
but still though that is truely amazing :)
im in love with godzillas legs, honestly ive never been a fan of godzilla legs much and when i heard this movie was comin out i thought to myself how in the world are they gonna ever pull off a some cool lookin believable legs and this film answered that with these beautiful legs. im in love with this godzilla i gottahave this model or the sideshow model.
holy crap that is amazing, i wish i had the money to buy that :(
La chance qu'il a.Lucky him
@mikeynamez
you make a very good point no matter how far we get with today's technology god and nature itself can defeat us every time. :)
@ anguirus the great and powerful
welcome to the godzilla forums :)
@gman 2887
ahh come on man, tell me how you really feel :)
just joking yeah you do bring a good point there still though godzilla is so detailed that he actually looks like something that did exsist during the age of the dinosaurs or something i really like what i have seen and i am sure you do :)
oh thanks gojira2k i didn't think all of that would show up so yeah man thanks for your help again ;)
Here is their EBay page with their Godzilla merchandise.
One simple word. No. I say that because the theme constantly talked about is man vs nature. To me that would be like saying we could stop a tornado or a tsunami. It will reak havoc and then fade away leaving us to deal with the aftermath. The scary part about those things is they give no real warning and can return at anytime...
i agree with BIGBADBEN tho. Cranston will probably die. It would make the most sense
Historically speaking, the idea of Godzilla as a "force of nature" didn't really come to fruition until Mothra vs. Godzilla and that was a good 10 years after the original film. Even then it was the Heisei that milked that idea a bit more.
Regardless, I'm not completely convinced this is going to be a "horrific Godzilla" as Edwards has likened him to a loan samurai warrior rising up to right some wrongs. Even the new plot synopsis says Godzilla, "rises to restore balance". He seems to be some sort of unsung, anti-hero in this movie. That's hardly the roots of the original film.
And maybe Sarah Palin is the flying muto.it all adds up so perfectly
yeah i would keep godzilla to his original routine and leave it like that. :)
get ready everyone godzilla is coming to crush our theathers once again :)
I have been waiting for this movie since past november-december , so hell yeah!!!!
man i really cant wait to see this badass movie once it is released :)
this godzilla is very pissed off and means business this time. :)
if anything i dont think that this godzilla is going to die but i have a very weird feeling that bryan cranston or someone else that is a main character probably will.
@GODZILLA'SWRATH you're welcome
