Definitely the Heisei era. I love films from this era. My favorite is Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. Films have a serious and thoughtful plot. The Showa era is mostly made for children. too much humor, repeated footage from previous films where a different Godzilla costume was used. This hints at the laziness of the creators. Godzilla is constantly stupid and floundering. The Heisei era is more advanced, soulful and realistic than the Showa era. This is my opinion and it probably won't change

The new design definitely looks more cybernetic and alien than the Showa version.

I think i actually prefer the short beak look.

The mighty cybernetic buzz saw chicken returns! Hopefully this means that we'll have a short film with Megalon next year.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Godzilla's movie future is in Japan, and MonsterVerse Goji will only feature in TV shows and maybe one movie.

This project was launched by Toho, Color, Tsuburaya Productions, and Toei. The dream collaboration between four of Japan's leading "heroes" has been realized, transcending the boundaries of the companies because of the connection with the work bearing the name "Shin" in which the rare creator Hideaki Anno participates.

As a start-up, the main visual and emblem for this project were completed. The visuals were created by Masahiro Maeda and the emblem by Yutaka DeBuchi, two people who are deeply involved in each series, and they will add color to the start of this large-scale project.
