You may have discribed two differ'nt GODZILLA movies,sounds to me like GODZILLA ON MONSTER ISLAND/GODZILLA VS GIGAN and GODZILLA VS KING KONG.

For any of you who don'y understand where im getting of this, I thought it would really be cool to show you guys because it looks almost identical to the Alien Spaceship from Godzilla 2000! i believe the offical trailer will be released in december or possibly in january or hell even feburary but i mean we still have 276 days left and counting time is so frustrating so hang in there everyone

i would have to say yes...... and no because it would be a great rematch between the two but we all know it wouldnt be right because for those who believe kong won you are WRONG when was the last time you ever heard a gorialla even breathe underwater for that movie kong got knocked out twice for a 10 count and seeing that he cant breathe under water he got the hell out of godzillas path

Oh man totally forgot...add the new Godzilla and monsters from the new 2014 movie. This way we can both promote the new movie and also enjoy new monsters kicking butt with old! And very last add Zilla, why, because I want to kick his butt and destroy him with every monster ever made!

Hey everyone, new to the site and just wanted to add some of my own input on a future Godzilla game. I will discuss my ideas in sections. I might mention some monsters more then others and I might not at all, I’m not being biased by any means, I am just taking mistakes and bringing them to the light. I love my Kaiju and believe all can be worked on in some way, I just don’t have the space to bring it all up. These are just my ideas of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I’m just expressing mine. =) Monsters – Get rid of these made up and never before featured in a movie monsters. Give me my classics, give me all of them, but done correctly. When I say correctly, I mean give them the powers and respect that over 50 years has. Example: Godzilla Save the Earth – Mothra had a body slam (WTF) where she slams her body straight down onto the ground. Doesn’t sound like a move a flyer like her could benefit from. Instead they should have and potentially could give her the hurricane wind attack. You could do some sort of button mash and she could flap her wings very strong and kick up those winds. In turn those winds could kick up some debris from the ground and hit your opponent. And about her spores/powder attack which sucked BTW in the games could be used as an attack/defense instead of being a shield could be used to either stun you for a few or used like in the 90s to redirect energy back to your opponent. Let’s just keep our monsters true to their originality. The fact that Mothra was a peaceful monster so no super attack, was dumb, if peace was an issue she wouldn’t be fighting at all in any game or movie!! Would you want to see Godzilla do a spinning jump and fly dash attack, no, cause that would be silly and not anatomically correct for him. Controls – Simple controls! The wii version…was well annoying. The fact that I have to worry about movement with a control and wii chuk is annoying. I’m a giant monster bent on destroying the city and opponent I’m facing. I don’t want to worry about so much hand and arm control/movement nor do I want to worry about charging up my power beam and then chucking my control into the TV screen. I just want to blow sh*t up. Skins/DLC – Now lets talk monsters looks. First get rid of the imaginary monsters you added who never debuted in a movie. Give me all my classics, give me their full potential so I can have the battle I always dreamed of. Now give me my monsters with all their looks! Yes I said it, I want the LOOK! Take away having different character slots for the same character and just give me one character and give me look choices. So if I choose Godzilla the next choice should be if I want him to look like the original, the 90’s or millennium looks, even GMK or final wars look. Mothra could be the same - original, 90’s, GMK and Tokyo SOS/FW’s look. (Personally I love Tokyo SOS Mothra) And get rid of her beginning as larval form. I mean really!!! Gigan original look and FW’s skin. You get the idea. Fact is when you have a game of such a high caliber your inner kid begins to create the ultimate monster matches. And if you’re like me who grew up to the movies, you know there are fights you always wanted to see happen. Stages – Now the stages have always been ok. But they should give monsters their own levels to fight in, sort of like MK or Street Fighter. You have a character and their level to fight in. Example – Monster X’s level could be in Tokyo (FW scene) and you could have the Gotengo battling it out with the Xilian mother ship in the area to add affect. How about we have a Mothra stage on infant island or even better have her stage be the area where they had her egg in the incubator. Again, all the characters could have a stage and an alternate unlockable or DLC stage to fight in. MAKE THIS GAME MASSIVE!!! Moves – Last but not least let’s talk about moves…not just any moves, FINISHING MOVES! Make cut scenes for all! Monster X could turn into Keiser G and destroy you, Godzilla could go into meltdown mode and destroy you, Mothra could use super spores and blow you up (Of course with the opponent firing an energy weapon as a cutscene for added effect). Gigan has his chest/stomach buzz saw…need I say more about his! =) I hope my ideas were at least enjoyable to whoever reads them. All of us who wrote responses to this topic should all just get together and just make a great game for the world to play, I see some of the ideas are awesome as I feel some of mine are. But again…would make an awesome game. Thanks for reading this.

If you got permission to rewrite cannon on Kong or supercharge his growth, then I GUESS so. It needs to have the "Godzilla wins" ending. Never was there such a betrayal as watching it a 2nd time as a kid and Kong won. Huh? Otherwise Godzilla just "Bambis" him or eats him like the Rancor ate the Gamorrean Guard.

The American public seems to go for the actors more than the plot and story, eg every Adam Sandler movie. But if legendary plays it right and advertised its stellar cast the movie would do well I think. Bryan Cranston is very popular right now. Especially with breaking bad season 5 episode 9 airing tonight. They should air a trailer in a breaking bad episode during the commercials after airing it in the pretrailers to a movie. Bryan Cranston could sell the movie just because of his success with breaking bad. Who wouldn't want more Walter white anyway? Lol

If they were smart, they'd make a new version of the Charles Barkley/Godzilla basketball commercial or some kind of other jokes using the new Godzilla design that gets people's attention. Yes, this is a serious Godzilla movie, but it would get people talking. Or if all else fails as Easter eggs.

I would love to see that come to pass. I believe it would be a hit especially for King Kong fans.

Part of me thinks maybe the trailer will be in front of The Seventh Son because that is a Legendary Studio's movie. But I don't think that is one of the more highly anticipated movies. It'd be smarter if the trailer was in front of Thor 2 or The Hobbit, or even Ender's Game. I honestly don't have a confident prediction for the trailer.

i would love it if G-man had the attitude like he did in the late 60's and 70's. the way he taunts the other monsters and celebrates when he wins. who remembers the mouth wipe taunt.

That would be brilliant! To see the true West Vs East battle with new technology would be one of the greatest cinematic events since the original film

I would Love that. The original film was good even though the costumes were very goofy. But would Love o see a Remake, But please don't use the same exact plot from the original.

They got a point, WB is sadly not really looking to make this the blockbuster of next year. Maybe December, the first Pacific Rim trailer came out in December so hopefully the next hobbit film. WB should really consider bringing this film more to general audience, but sadly it doesn't seem that way.

Yes, this is by far my most demanded remake. Enough of the Mothra, King-Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla requests. They appear in 5 or more Godzilla films each... it's boring... This is the classic brawl that needs a modern update. Plus, it has the highest attendance figures for a Godzilla film to date. The words King Kong and Godzilla together create buzz.
