It's a fake fan made picture but an awesome fan made picture. Mabye the surfer dude survives.

Mabye, (now this is just an idea) the M.U.T.O.'s lead Godzilla to the bridge and Godzilla (not aware of his suroundings) hits the bridge's road and makes the bridge colapse. Unlike in Pacific Rim, the kaiju axehead just destroys the bridge.

Durp004Godzilla 2014 ForumMTV MOVIE POLL

This poll has to be being advertised largely on another site besides MTV. I watch mtv, the shows they watch the audience they cater to and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that movies like Spiderman 2, Captain America 2, and Guardains of the Universe are being smashed by, for the most part, unknown movies.

Either the voting on this site is ridiculously voted by females, or this is being advertised on possibly all those movies own sites that those votes are for. There's no way the general public is voting on that poll.

Godzilla fighting Anguirus in Godzilla raids again.

No beams, no kung fu, just sheer tooth and claw fighting always at eachother's throats. It was truly the best monster fight in the whole series in my opinion.

Gojirafan6Godzilla Forumis the final wars godzilla godzilla jr.?

so Yes. The Godzilla in GFW is Junior. The opening scene is said to take place in the late 1990's while the main story occurs in 2032. While all the details regarding the setting and possibly new origins of some of the monsters has been axed from the final cut of the film by Ryuhei Kitamura to make the story open to interpretation, no one bothered to tell the editor this. As a result, any of the intended exposition from Wataru Mimura and Shogo Tomiyama has been lost, but in the opening scene it is still made explicitly clear that Godzilla is in fact Junior. You probably already suspected this when you saw the movie, but without the characters mentioning any history, it seems sort of... hanging. Like... why did they just show Junior, and why do they keep mimicking those shots? Because it's supposed to be Junior, that's why.

KyeroGodzilla 2014 ForumFuture Kaiju

Okay, so first and foremost let this be known to everyone who goes through these threads: Each Toho Kaiju comes with its own set of licenses which must be purchased in order for them to be used. The likelihood of Legendary, or anyone else, buying the rights to any and/or all of the other Toho Kaiju is almost nil.

Now, on to the topic at hand.

As far as future Kaiju, if the movie does well enough to warrant a sequel and indeed earns one, I'd like to see more original Kaiju from the creative minds of Gareth Edwards and other powerhouse creature designers. Originality is the key to success, which is why the Toho line did as well as it did during its run.

This, however, is a new franchise and deserves all new creatures to bring it into its own unique spotlight. Piggy backing off of the work of Toho is a recipe for disaster and should not be done. Taking Godzilla is risk enough, but just ripping off of Toho monsters is downright irresponsible and lackluster. A sequel should have all new creatures because it's an all new franchise starring Godzilla.

He deserves a new beginning as well as a new future. No Toho Kaiju besides him involved.

I've been working on a few new ones. I'm not too terribly thrilled with how the colored version of Godzilla himself came out, but I do like how the sketch turned out and as for the Battle picture between Godzilla and Talaghan, that is an old one that I made shortly after the I drew the second teaser comic.

KyeroGodzilla 2014 ForumWill Godzilla move fast or slow?

Guys, Godzilla's speed has nothing to do with how big he is.

The key to his speed, or lack thereof, is his structure and the shape of his body. If the new toy is to be believed as official and close to the final design (if not spot on), then Godzilla will be more of a lumbering giant like he was in the 1954 film. Slow and steady steps, no real sway save for the natural lean from one side to the other that comes with all bipedal creatures. Every step we take gives us a slight lean to that side to compensate for the change of our center of gravity with the step. Godzilla will do something similar due to being bipedal. If Godzilla were quadroupedal, then he'd sway much more like a crocodile or an alligator because that's how they're built.

But this one is built bipedally, and as such he will walk in a very similar way to his original form in 1954.

The fact of the matter is that we don't know.

Since it's an integral part of the city, I doubt very much that it will be spared from destruction. It's also not in an area where it would be easily avoided for anything as large as Godzilla. If they do take it down, it will have to be done in a different way than in Pacific Rim. If Godzilla walks through it without really acknowledging its existence, then I'm satisfied because that's Godzilla behavior 101. He doesn't care what's there. If it's in his way, it's in his way.

Its a cool idea in all but............... I think that might happen in the movie. It just seems right for an american godzilla movie that takes place in the Pacific. I just have a felling that's gonna happen.

Personally I feel like he's either not going to touch it or it will be collateral in some part of the attack.  What I mean is either another monster will damage it or Godzilla will fire his ray at something else and end up clipping it.  The fact is that the first Kaiju in Pacific Rim destroying the bridge was one of the most iconic scenes from that film, another Legendary Pictures monster movie.  I can see them not making a big deal out of it's destruction, if not leaving it completely in tact, out of respect for Del Toro's film.

It'd be cool to see him walk through it. Who knows? It's still in tact in the poster from what it looks like, though.

I have to go with the blue atomic breath.  Its beauty is matched only by its destructive power which I think will add to Godzilla's character.  Some of the destruction should have an aura of glamour to symbolize the nature aspect of him while other aspects represents mankinds hideous nature.

^The only reason the red beam destroyed MechaGodzilla is because Godzilla's glitter was melting the armor.
