Bullshit, Marvel its amazing too, Marvel haves Spiderman, The X-Men and The Avengers.
Mabye that could be Titanosaurus in a future movie in his come back. Cause come on, all Titanosaurus did was fight and then fall from a cliff. Mabye he could come bak and be seen eating a whale.
except the hulk, the hulk is incredible :P
that sounds amazing!if it comes out before the movie, i might buy it but not read it until after i see the movie, dont want to have the movie spoiled for me. may is going to be such an awesome month!
Thank god......zilla it's DC Comics. Marvel sucks.
Awesome, I LOVE DC COMICS!!!
Before you say that, try and look up the artists. Theyre so great, especially Eric Battle. And personnaly, i was never into Matt Franks art.
this sounds cool but i wish it was idw because they have matt frank but this could be cool

hahaha this is awesome!
Breaking News:
I feel like this thread was the most relevant on the topic and I don't like making duplicates, so I revived it. Here's the news:
A new distribution company called Kraken Releasing is putting Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster and Godzilla vs. Gigan on Bluray for the first time ever. (DVD re-releases as well.)
For those of you still hunting down the Sony DVDs of these films, you no longer have to worry about paying $80+ for them. These DVDs/Bluray will be much cheaper and for those of us who want to convert our Godzilla collection to Bluray, this will be our chance to add to Godzilla (1954), Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla vs. Biollante. (Which are the only other Godzilla movies available on bluray in North America.)
The DVDs/Bluray of these movies is rumored to be available May 6th.

the extreamity of this project would be difficult to pull off if they dont someone do something in the upcoming movie to bridge the gap with aliens and space monsters unless muto crated ghidora and mothra... which i think will weaken the godzilla nor... bring in magic and aliens lets run it like its supposed to be run, mothra is the guardian of earth more or less replaced by mans fuck up and super ceded by nuclear super powered monster, and aliens makes sense cause this gives them the ability to explain ghidora from out of the blue and to bring in space godzilla etc, and if they ever decide to bring in batra magic will have to come into it again, now that i think of it theres a few monsters on earth so called guardians made or altered by magic
the fact that godzilla doesn't even need to breath would explain how he can live underwater without gills, unless 2014 does have gills.
What they said but the pic is cool
The short film was cool i liked it
Patrick tatopoulos also desighned ZILLA........there's some food for thought
why do people preffer destroyah as a final boss over ghidorah, i thought ghidorah(or/mechagodzilla) is godzilla's arch enemy.
that is good, but do you think godzilla will need tartar sauce with that?
i could see this and imagine this for a sequel but it needs more gigan.
Well, Godzilla has to eat something.
I cant see his short film video. Can anyone tell me what its called so i can find it?
If the idea of Godzilla having his insides basically being a more efficient organic nuclear reactor remains intact, he'd never actually "need" to eat anything, or even breathe for that matter, for he would be extremely self-sufficient, requiring only a quick top-off every few hundred years or so, with oxygen becoming obsolete due to his nuclear organ system providing other supplementary elements for his unique biology. Breathing and eating would be mere leftover instinctual behaviours at most.
Actually, the feeding on nuclear energy is the closest thing to real that we'll get with Godzilla. Anything short of the highest concentrations of nuclear energy and things like rocket fuel would not satisfy his body's needs. The energy expended by him as a creature of such proportions is so immense that no method of feeding other than the previously mentioned two would ever work.
Feeding on whales is about as practical for Godzilla as licking up ant colonies.
It don't work.
it looks cool and 'may seem' realistic, but for even a creature that size would result in the extinction of the whale population, and even that wouldn't satisfy him.
nuclear energy is better because it further supports godzilla's anti nuclear message and gives the excuse of him not needing to feed tons like any other chemical powered animal like dinosaurs.
To tell the truth, if this was to happen, I'd much prefer they be honest and make it a completely separate project which actually does "Remake" an older Godzilla film. Something like Ghidorah, the Three Headded Monster (2015) or something to let us know that this is a true Remake and not part of the rebooted franchise.
With the new franchise, I honestly don't want to see ANY Toho Kaiju. They do not belong in it in my opinion. If they do well with this first movie and decide to work with Toho to actually "remake" an old feature, I'd be all for it because it'd be an honest remake and not a falsely titled reboot.
im hoping for perhaps aguiris and new creatures. im hoping for a bat creature. that hasnt been done before as far as i know and is one of my favorite animals
why can't I just copy and paste ?
Movie goers love stupid movies, which is why vampire accademy is going to do paifnully well.
It looks really great and is well done, but is it just me or are Godzilla and the whale a little bit small?
I have read this already. At first I was like Really?. But after reading two ore three sentences more I understood, that it was fake.
Strange. And not funny, just stupid.
Another good way of portraying the charachter realisticly.
Instead of Feeding on Nuclear energy.
Yeah not even gonna bother reading it the comments are enough.
This is great! Nice job.
I really hope for Rodan in the probable sequel! He really deserves a reboot or something of the sort. :)
*Laughing my ass off right now
It's not impossible just unnecessary. This goes back to my argument of, "he's popular because you can't not like him." He's been done so many different ways that if you hate 1 version wait 3 movies and you'll get a different 1. Oh not a fan of him being an alien monster that wanders around space destroying planets? Well how about a controlled monster. Not a fan of that either, well no problem how about futuristic genetically engineered pets that are taken back in time and to absorb the radiation Godzilla was exposed to. If that's not to your liking then he'll be an ancient Alien sealed away in the mothra series and a guardian of Japan in the next few years. Then finally be a new monster who has a great design(in my opinion of course) just to change into possibly the worst looking version of Ghidorah yet(once again my opinion) just to bring the character back for "the last installment".
It's not Ghidorah can't go any further as much as he's at a good point give some1 else a chance. The godzilla series is well known for having an extremely diverse and interesting stock of monsters, but throwing and odd 20 monsters out to bring back Ghidorah for the 8th time in a recycled, or unneedingly new way is foolish. Once again most iconic characters have at least sentient intelligence and a personality so retelling the story is fine as you can maybe concentrate more on specific aspects of each character when retelling, but that isn't as possibly with monsters who are animalistic in almost every depliction of them.
@Kaijujira
Godzilla beat Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in the first round actually. Had it beaten VA, it would have gone up against something called Tracers, another movie i have never heard of (making it a heavyweight in this tournamentt).
@BCROCKETT94 I'm sorry, but there are a few things I have to respectfully disagree here:
1. TriStar's movie is so not a Godzilla film because it had nothing to do with neither the Godzilla character nor the source material, other than rip-off Jurassic Park and other flight scenes from other movies, so because of this it doesn't count as a Godzilla movie. I know it's your opinion, but I just think the movie should be looked at as just a generic monster movie than a Godzilla movie. Again, it rips off Jurassic Park more than having the real Godzilla in the movie.
2. That piece of crap that appeared in the movie is not Godzilla, it's called Zilla, and the reason for it is because Toho renamed the creature after TriStar lost the rights in 2002. Here's two 100% reliable, non-biased and non-fan-made links:
Zilla
Zilla Name Change
3. Not all the Godzilla movies had terrible acting, if you're referring outside the Showa films. Have you seen The Return of Godzilla? The acting in that movie is actually pretty good.
4. The '98 movie has no plot at all, at least none that can keep focus on. Even if the original films' effects were limited (which you had to give them a break since it's all they had to work with at the time), but they all had an actual plot (except Godzilla's Revenge, we can all agree that movie sucks), and some of them had actual messages you may have missed - "Why is Godzilla far deeper than you think". Zilla barely got any screen time because tha kaiju got shoved aside by a shitty romance, and annoying stereotypes. If a movie all it has are smoke and mirrors - TriStar's Zilla movie in this case - then the movie has nothing more to give, and plot, characters and GODZILLA are not part of that offer.
5. Zilla's design is great as a kaiju design. But as a GODZILLA design - IT SUCKS!!! IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL!!! TriStar should've done what Legendary is doing - modernize Godzilla's image, while keeping a classic impression.
These are just the things I have to disagree with you here, with all due respect.
