Would this not be the perfect Godzilla 2014 sequel movie idea?

GIGAN!!! And Destroyah. One of these two and I'm happy

yeah, I will agree I'd like to see Gigan reprised. He was my favorite Kaiju enemy Godzilla ever faced. Destroyah would be cool for a "final boss" fight, perhaps for the third and/or final film. But the second should definitely feature some more Monsters and nod to the classics.

Done Before but would like to see a modern look of it.

but New monsters are more preferable for me.

I really hope for Rodan in the probable sequel! He really deserves a reboot or something of the sort. :)

im hoping for perhaps aguiris and new creatures. im hoping for a bat creature. that hasnt been done before as far as i know and is one of my favorite animals

To tell the truth, if this was to happen, I'd much prefer they be honest and make it a completely separate project which actually does "Remake" an older Godzilla film. Something like Ghidorah, the Three Headded Monster (2015) or something to let us know that this is a true Remake and not part of the rebooted franchise.

With the new franchise, I honestly don't want to see ANY Toho Kaiju. They do not belong in it in my opinion. If they do well with this first movie and decide to work with Toho to actually "remake" an old feature, I'd be all for it because it'd be an honest remake and not a falsely titled reboot.

i could see this and imagine this for a sequel but it needs more gigan.

why do people preffer destroyah as a final boss over ghidorah, i thought ghidorah(or/mechagodzilla) is godzilla's arch enemy.

the extreamity of this project would be difficult to pull off if they dont someone do something in the upcoming movie to bridge the gap with aliens and space monsters unless muto crated ghidora and mothra... which i think will weaken the godzilla nor... bring in magic and aliens lets run it like its supposed to be run, mothra is the guardian of earth more or less replaced by mans fuck up and super ceded by nuclear super powered monster, and aliens makes sense cause this gives them the ability to explain ghidora from out of the blue and to bring in space godzilla etc, and if they ever decide to bring in batra magic will have to come into it again, now that i think of it theres a few monsters on earth so called guardians made or altered by magic

I would like to see more than just 3 movies. Then we would have to wait until Japan takes back Godzilla.

I would either love to see this or just different monsters that are like Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah.

i wonder if perhaps the second movie in the trilogy could introduce some of the old monters who need a new movie going for them like hedorah he was cool but the movie.....blech. im not sure if its for kids, adults, or godzilla fans. He deserves some justice after only being in final wars for about 30 seconds. and he got his butt handed to him on a silver platter there. im just saying monsters like him have a ton of potential. at least Kiryu got a second movie. but what about Varan, Angirus, Baragon and them. those guys were cool too. 

i also believe the third movie could be another movie like final wars or destroy all monsters THAT would be an epic finale rather than waiting for japan to take back the big g-man and make more movies.

They should make the cloverfield monster vs godzilla in the sequel. That would be the #1 movie in usa if they did that. Maybe in other countries it would be a hit.
