Dont think so, since this is the biggest size monster ever, it wont be enough to fill him up.
I hope not. For something that size humans wouldn't even be worth bending down to get.
@DRAGONLORD meh doesnt matter to me that much because they know very less of the charachter, hopefully when the film comes out it will make them think otherwise.
and besides as long as there's 3 times more (Will see) votes thats fine with me, and I gaurantee some are probably VA Fans that are randomely pressing it down, @Everyone but now that I said that lets not all go and do the same thing to VA lets be mature.
There's no confirmation about the February 7th date, but it comes from one of the randoms who tried and faild to predict the first trailer so I wouldn't put any stock in that rumor.
When the next trailer does arrive, it's almost certain we'll get some cool new footage. If we're lucky we might get a more solid glimpse of one or more MUTO creatures as well, but that's a big 'If.'
For the time being I highly recommend patience. Trust me, I'm OCD and ADHD, and I'm calmly waiting for whatever else is next and trying to get others to do the same. When the next trailer hits, it will hit and we'll have our answers as to what it will bring. But seriously, just relax. There's nothing that's going to stop Godzilla's arrival in May, so sit tight and enjoy what we have now.
Yep I agree that the trailer gave enough for great hypeness
They sent women out on rafts as a sacrifice to Godzilla, but the most likely thing that happened was they simply died of dehydration/hunger and never drifted back to the islands. The idea that Godzilla actually would care for those sacrifices when he was just an animal awakened and mutated by radiation is rather far fetched.
I doubt that the new one will either. Especially when he's going to be in the neighborhood of 350' ish (if the number is to be believed though it does come from a real magazine as opposed to random internet trolls). Something of that size preying on humans is... less than practical or believable for any reason.
The only Godzilla game I've played was Destroy All Monsters.
2000 dont want to see?? WOw shameful
I agree with Hazzardkitsune, I also enjoy the different roars.
Thats seems too mythical you know, so possibly not that Godzilla will eat humans
Godzilla 1954 is the best one, oh and Godzilla 2014 is good too.
Come on Legendary, It's been to long stop trolling us.
I liked the Godzilla figure, I thought it was a good desigh, and I give it a 9/10.
Better be Deadite Kaiju or I will be disappointed.
My favorite roar is the 84 Goji. They actually tried to make him sound like a living (angry) creature with a gravely growl. I'm not a fan of the Americanized Godzilla roar in the new trailer, reminds me too much of the 98 Roar. Too high pitched and modulated sounding.
I've also been waiting a little too long for some news, It's been dry lately.
@DURP00
I can put it on the same level. Because Oxygen atoms do not 'split' in the same fashion as purposed in Godzilla 54. For example, Oxygen atoms aren't quite the same as say Hydrogen atoms-- which we all know have a huge part in a THERMONUCLEAR BOMB. Hell, the H-bomb itself is a FUSION based weapon and not a fission based weapon at all.
We know spliting oxygen atoms simply does not create anything remotely similar to what the Oxygen Destroyer did. We know that a fission based atomic bomb or fusion based thermonuclear bomb are not as easily created by simply 'splitting atoms'. Its a bit more complicated than that-- particularly in the area of fusion weapons.
AT BEST-- the 'science' used in Gojira is psuedo science fiction, at best, silly and basically science fantasy. Making it as plausible as EVIL VENGEFUL SPIRITS forming into a giant demonic monster. So yes, I will compare it. Its all silly poppycock.
The 1954 film is not DEVOID of silliness or stupidity-- I really wish fans would stop over-appreciating it and glorifying it.
Five bucks say we see Muto figure pictures long before we see it in a trailer.
My only question Daikaiju is, what makes you think your opinion is better than others who disagree to the point where you title your post "STOP WHINING"?
Godzilla 2014 poster with the soldiers doing a halo jump and below them is Godzilla's spines is my favourite, it looks incredible.
I think the only reason we got such a good look at godzilla was because they wanted to show fans they were keeping the original design. So I don't think we'll get a good look at muto till the movie comes out.
@BigBadBen, My sympathies go out to you and your family. This was very emotional for me to read. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and I will keep your brother in mind the next time I hear Akira Ifukube's "Requiem." R.I.P. George Chaffins.
I am very sorry for your loss, but his spirit will never die. There is no such thing as someone being gone forever. His spirit will always be with you and your family. I do believe in God, I also believe in spirits and ghosts. I met my great grandmother once in her spirit form in my kitchen, my mom saw her too. If you believe in God, say a prayer for your brother and to God. Ask him to keep your Brother's spirit safe with him in heaven. I sincerely hope you feel better soon.
@Akagi
I don't think you can put angry souls reincarnating an atomic monster on the same level of splitting a oxygen atom(hmm splitting atoms to make some deadly effect where have I heard that before?)
My favorite monster & roar would be:
#1.Obsidious, ya ya he's not considerd a "official g-monster" but I like him.
#2. 2014 g-roar, it just sounds like a awesome mix betwen 1954 and 2004 roar-(it's sounds like it to me but mabye not to you)-and it makes me feel enthusiastic.
I don't have a twitter otherwise I totally would. I just think the entire concept of Twitter (facebook with nothing but statuses) is stupid and I refuse to make one (plus I hate hashtags with a passion)
A facebook page could be a good idea too. I agree with Tevin too though we know about it they should just show it off. Heck, it'd be good marketting (which they are severely lacking on since the teaser's release) too!
It's something I've wondered about for years too. The only thing I can think of is once they changed the roar what they changed it to sounded more like the roar of every Godzilla prior to Godzilla 1984 (except for the original's roar being slightly different) so many they changed it to get back to Godzilla's basics/routes?
I agree though the 84 roar sounded brutal/mean... like I would not want to be anywhere near that thing!
I just have two things to say
Danielle- your original post made me laugh my butt off! It's so true too!
Mrawesomeness360- your user name = so much win
That's what I've been saying the whole time! Thank you for this post, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this.
Nice thought though.
Here is the prototype Godzilla 1989 S.H.MonsterArts figure. He looks pretty sweet, but personally I'm more excited for the Godzilla 2014 figure! But since its pretty much certain that both will come out, chances are I'll be getting both, so its only a question of which comes out first!
The Cover Art for the re-release of Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster, Godzilla vs. Hedorah and Godzilla vs. Gigan has been revealed. Looks like they're trying to emulate Classic Media's covers:
Easily my favorite monster roar would be that of Titanosaurus. There really is no roar like his. He has such a unique roar that it really does stand out from all of the other monsters. Whenever I hear that maniacal cackle it always puts a smile on my face.
I honestly have no idea. Wolfguy's reasoning seems plausable, but it's something I've often wondered about myself. I'm not sure what prompted Toho to change it.
Like to hear GMAN's take haha
