Repercussions

Monarch was in shambles. After the reported death of a young boy came to light, there were almost immediate protests on (supposedly hidden) Monarch stations in the area. Thousands roamed the streets with various anti Monarch signs. Public figures gave speeches on the non-existent quarantine zone that should've been put up immediately around the area. Militia groups that heavily opposed Monarch were starting to get support from their local towns and cities The council, being composed of the most trusted operatives after the incident in Boston, was split on what to do but in the end they came to a decision.. They only had one choice, and they knew who would be perfect for the task. 

Jason Adderman was on his desk computer, looking at his own Wikipedia article. After Monarch became public after the incident with M.U.T.O 1 and 2, he was one of the first operatives to be given the MPS title and as a result became known by the general population. Quickly skipping past the controversies section, he reached what he was looking for. The heading read “2021 Titanus Ahuizotl Incident”. The section followed the basic events but did not include Ahuizotl having died or the black substance, that was still classified information. Before he could check what people were saying about the death of a young boy on Isla de Mara, his door suddenly swung open. He saw one of the council members, Dr. ILene Chen. She was flanked by two guards that remained in the doorway as she entered the room. He gained a sudden headache when she told him that he would have to make a public statement. 

Isla de Mara suddenly became one of the most popular places in the world after the young boy's death. Hundreds of reporters came to interview the locals, thrill seekers came in droves to get a peek at a titan. Due to all of the eyes on the water, it no time at all for the screaming to start as something rose from the water.
