Will there be a trailer for Godzilla 2 during the Superbowl?

Well, seeing as they have been working on it since the last movie, I'd figured a Proof-of-Concept trailer may be ready soon.

The Super Bowl promotes films coming out within the year. A trailer on television for a movie coming out two years away? Hardly. In the realm of "no possibility" Godzilla Resurgance has a better chance...

Proof-of-concept trailers aren't even shown for every film and even if one were to be shown it would be at something like San Diago Comic Con. Not the Super Bowl.

Godzilla 2014 didn't even get a Super Bowl spot so chances are Godzilla 2018 won't either.

You say that they've been working on Godzilla 2 since Godzilla came out. This isn't true. They haven't filmed anything for it. At best, the script is being worked on or is finished.

Sorry I didn't have all the information either. I had a pleasant thought, hoped others were thinking the same thing, but it turns out I was wrong.

Haha don't worry about it, no such thing as a stupid question. Who knows, imagine if Legendary surprised everyone with a tease for Godzilla 2 during the Super Bowl? Anything is possible. It's just verrrrrry unlikely. To be honest, I'd rather Legendary and Warner Bros. not feature it during any Super Bowl. That's a massive expense, one I would rather see put towards perfecting the film's quality.

I should add - if any film is going to get a Super Bowl spot I can see Godzilla vs. Kong getting one. That film will have a stupid budget.

Guys cool it he's a fan excited for Godzilla 2. We all are. And even if not doing it for superbowl a video announcement by someone hopefully Gareth Edwards some time this year once post production for Rogue One is finished ain't all that far fetched.
