AdminSpaceGodzillaDec-05-2015 4:31 PMSome fans actually enjoyed the 1998 Godzilla by Roland Emmerich. Though, everyone seems to agree, that the Monster present in that movie was NOT Godzilla.
My question today is, what if they were to reboot Zilla 98 but market it as its own, new monster? What if it was given a serious tone like Legendary's Godzilla? Would you pay to see a film like that or did Zilla leave a bad taste in your mouth? I'm curious to hear what you guys think.

But yes, I would love to that with someone like Zilla Jr, giving him an Atomic Breath and everything. If Zilla was at least a little more powerful, tanking those missiles and it maybe requiring at least 20 of those to take him down.

MemberGodzillaDec-05-2015 7:42 PMCHRIS PICARD - Hmm...now that is a very interesting question. In the long run, I believe that I would be inclined to see a reboot of Godzilla '98 - provided it was presented in such a fashion as to be attention-grabbing! I was not overly fond of Zilla; however, I was not so affronted by the beast as to utterly despise it as some do! :)
