MemberMothra LarvaeMarch 17, 2015So I edit The airport scene with a real deleted roar from the special features! And I also found the extended ver. Of the Victory roar in a vfx breakdown and edit together so here you guys and gals go
There are strong men and weak men. The strong ones are here to keep the weak ones up when ever they fail.
I really like this older roar, it reminds me of the Trex roar from Jurassic Park
Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.
I didn't notice anything extended about the victory roar.
I? I am a monument to all of your sins.
LOL.
You can literally see the desaturation in the cut between the theatrical release and the DVD/ Blu Ray release with the Victory Roar scene.
They really should start working on an updated disc; the image prior looks WAY better.
I was thinking the same thing. Supposedly the Toho disc is better. May import if I get more evidence that's the case.
Umm... Guys I made that cut! The clip didn't come with a ending so I had to add the threater ver thing!

I do not like the roar. It does not sound like Godzilla at all. BTW, My favorite roar SFX is the one used in millenium series.
That's a real deleted roar form the bts

No no, the second part of the clip (when Godzilla drops the head) is the desaturated part I was referring too and is the BluRay/DVD release. The clip prior (the lengthy roar) is the obvious VFX video showcase and the version that premiered in theatres.
I'm not setting the blame on you; just stating how humorous it is that some manager actually thought the edit from the theatrical release to the Blu Ray was a better color correction.
Although I will add that there is definitely an extension to the victory roar, there. Godzilla's tail reaches a greater length in relation to it uncurling versus the actual cut of the film, where it cuts the clip a bit short.
