-MIST, this is HQ, the tracker confirms that Godzilla has just entered Cretorian territory. The local forces are engaging him, so his pace may decrease a bit. You have
about 24 hours until he intercept the MUTO.
-Roger that. We have just arrived at Berezino. We are proceding to the given coordinates. ETA 5 mikes-says Takashi-"Good luck in engaging that thing you dumb
cretorians."

Talaghan base
Berezino.Cretoria
23 and half hours until Godzilla's arrival

-Master. Something is wrong.
-What?
-Some kind of tracking beacon has been activated within our base.
-Where exactly?
-On the cell where...
-Good. It seems that Dr.Yamane made his part of the deal.
He goes to Yamane's cell.
-Nice work Dr. Yamane. The beacon appears to be working correcctly.
Yamane looks, horrified.
-Yes. I knew about the beacon you triggered. How stupid do you think we are? We were just hoping you found a way to lure Monarch so they would send someone who is
indeed capable of operating with such a device. You are just an assistant, you don't know how to weaponize anti-matter. So, pray that they actually send someone.
"You would be surprised with the things a technician knows"
-If someone is coming, the one that should be praying is you.
The man smiles but suddenly, and one of them reveives a radio call
-We have intruders in our perimeter.
-Good. How many are they?
-5.
-Only 5? Then they must be either really good or Monarch isn't taking much interest on what is happening here.

At the same time

The team wanders through what appears to be a farm.
-It is too quiet.-says Goodnight-This should be crawling. We may be walking into a trap.
-HQ, this is Ice Queen. We suspect that Talaghan forces may be preparing an ambush. Request suspension on the Operation.
-This is HQ. Negative. Godjira is converging on the MUTO. We need that bomb in our hands ASAP.
-We cannot take the risk of being killed for nothing.-says Hammer.
Suddenly, they find themselves surrounded by heavily-armed personnel.
-Drop those weapons bureucrat scum.-says a strong-looking man
-I will drop my knife on your head you maniac-says Takashi.
-Another time. i assume you are the team leader, so surrender yourselves or you will now what happens.
Takashi takes a look around and sees no other option.
-Men, drop your weapons.
-That'a girl.-says the man.

Monarch HQ

At the same time

-Ice Queen, come in!-says Admiral Stenz
-Were they captured?-says Serizawa
-I am afraid so.
-What options do we have?
-We can only pray that the Talaghan did not shoot on sight.
Serizawa sits on his chair and rests his head on the palm of his hands.
-I promised Brody that he would be ok.
-He knew the risks of this operation. Besides, no one would know that the Talaghan would be expecting us.
-We should have predicted that the beacon was a trap.
-Let's just wait for them to get out of that situation by themselves. The world is depending on them.

At the same time

-Kneel down.-says the man
The team obeys and kneels.

-Me.-says Ford
-Ok. Men, grab him. He and Dr.Yamane will be coming with us. The rest will go on a separate vehicle. Grab the protection suits. The radiation is going to increase a
lot once we get there.
They force Ford into a jeep and the rest is told to enter another one. Dr.Yamane enters the jeep holding the bomb. The man and some henchmen enter a few moments later
and they drive.
-So, Lieutenant Brody, is it? I want you to weaponize that.
-You are planning on killing Godzilla after all.
-Yes, but I didn't bring you to make a speech, I want you to tell me just if you can do it or not?
-It is...-Ford is interrupted by a look Yamane gives him, meaning that he should not probably say that the device was already weaponized.
-It is what?-asks the man
-It is going to take a bit.
