MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 1:10 AMNow, this Topic might have been talked about before, but I just want to share my opinion on what thought of it. So we see godzilla's foot come down and then rise up to his face for him to give a roar, At this point I was getting hyped, I wasn't expecting A huge battle, maybe just one like Knifehead v Gypsy Danger. But then suddenly we cut to Fords son, qatching the highlight's of the fight on the news! The Airport scene was supposed to be an epic scene for people to remeber, I did like the build-up to Godzilla but then Legendary Wasted it (However Elizabeth Olsen's expression on watching the news was hillarious)
I strongly believe im not the only one who feels this way, and as always post your thoughts on this in the comments.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 1:35 AMI totally agree, all that build up and teasing became some sort of waste, and true this fight scene should've been something similar like Gipsy vs Knifehead but shorter, and no instead idk what we got

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 1:46 AMI guess what the ywere trying to do is want you to be thirsty for the final battle, and I think they just wasted a good opertunity. Instead we see the military taking on the MUTO's and I wonder how that will turn out. I guess we will have a perfect Godzilla film in the sequel but I still loved the movie never the less and no film is perfect.

We've already talked about the airport scene a few times:
But here are a few questions for ya: How did Godzilla get to the airport from the ocean with no helicopter or planes shooting at him. And how did he get to the airport with no one hearing his footsteps or roar until he was right on top of them. And why no reaction shots from the people. I'd like to see the reaction on people's faces when they see something as terrifying as Godzilla for the first time.
What were they thinking.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 4:23 AMRATEDREX- Well I guess all the helicopter and planes went to fight off the male Muto, But with the footsteps I have to agree, Although the people are probably too shocked about what is happening with the MUTO, but I also Disagree with the people reation because its there! All the people inside the airport see the carnage and are screaming and shouting but then suddenly Godzilla's foot comes down and there is total silence. That bit was epic.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 6:05 AMEh, i was actually nicely suprised by how they ended the airport scene. I didnt need too see a smaller fight, and i felt like they had more than enough of incredible action in the final fight for me too care.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 6:25 AMGood point, but dont tell me you would have prefered to see the scene end like that? I think all of us realy did want to see that fight in detail.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2014 3:47 PMRATEDREX - Total movie sin hahaha, movie mistake, something that big like Godzilla can never sneak up like that without being heard or seen, they probably thought that would be a good type of teasing, but no I disagree that was some weird type of teasing, but I do accept it in a way.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-27-2014 8:06 PMI thought the scene was amazing with Godzilla causing the typhoon as he came ashore, what I especially loved was just before he arrived the water hitting the guys feet on the runway as he tried to hide from the MUTO, kind of letting you know he wasn't far behind. The explosion scene as Godzilla's foot comes crashing down was incredible, over all an amazing build up and then it was kind of a dud. I would have been fine with the majority of the battle on the TV but they should have shown some of it up close. Just seemed like a huge build up to nothing... that being said it is probably one of my favorite entrances Godzilla has ever made up to the disapointing end.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-28-2014 2:25 AMAn amazing build up for the reveal of Godzilla but ultimitely dissappointing. I also would have liked to see the fight but how about Godzilla kills the MUTO and starts to eat it (alpha predators have to eat right?) -end scene- Then we see Ford's son watching the news. On the TV we see an overhead view of a wreckage along with the eaten MUTO. Only the wings remain.
