Here's the changes I made:
1) I went over the entire body with a dark avacado green dry brush to really accentuate the details. This really made the details in the legs pop!
2) I painted the inside of the mouth so it wasn't just a black void.
3) I lightened the spines. I think the new Godzilla has solid black spines, but can't blame me for throwing in a little classic Godzilla into the mix.
4) I painted and textured his claws, both on the hands and feet. Again, not sure if it's accurate but it sure looks nice.
The next step to improving this bad boy? Light and sound! I'm hoping to get a blue light in his mouth, and get a speaker installed into the belly! Shouldn't be that hard, as they've already laid the ground work for it.
