Want Some Kaiju Action to Hold Ya Over?

With less than two months left till Godzilla comes out I know I'm not the only one gettig ancy/excited for it's release.  That being said, I figured I'd share something with all of you to hold you over till then :)

What's better than a Kaiju movie?  How about a Kaiju story combined with Star Wars?!

The Star Wars Clone Wars CGI cartoon is now on Netflix in it's entirety and two episodes in Season 2 brought out the Kaiju kid in me.  The Zillo Beast (title of the episode) is a monstrous creature, similar in size to Godzilla, that they accidentally encounter during the Clone Wars.  This monsters is not only massive, but is immune to lightsabers and other weapons, and can only be killed by a gas found on it's home planet.  What ensues is some military vs. kaiju action on an epic scale that is EXTREMELY reminiscent of many Godzilla movies. 

The two episodes featuring it are right in a row, The Zillo Beast and The Zillo Beast Strikes Back, are quite entertaining, actually tragic and emotional in a big way, and manage to tell a great tale in the Star Wars Universe that should help to quell any Godzilla fan's love of giant monsters for the time being.  As I also said, it's all on Netflix, Season 2.
