I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been watching the Teaser Trailer for the new Godzilla that released with the Hobbit at least once a week. Now, while I LOVE that Teaser and I am so glad that they finally released it, I have to ask... when will we have the first OFFICIAL TRAILER?! I know it hasn't been a month since the Teaser was released to Theaters... but I want more and I know I'm not the only one!

I've been trying to figure out when the Official Trailer will be released and looking at the upcoming list of Legendary movies, I'm stumped. The only thing I see between now and Godzilla is the sequel to the amazing 300, and with that releasing so close to the release of Godzilla I have to wonder if they'll release the actual trailer before then. Most of the time an actual official trailer (more than a teaser like we got) will come out at least 3 months if not more before a major picture.

I've scoured the internet for information and haven't been able to find squat outside of info relating to the Teaser that's already been released. What have all of you heard? Is there another date set for an official trailer release? Has anyone found it leaked online?

Please post your findings and theories here. It'd be a great way for us all to keep up to date on what's happening with the Big G.

Dude... that WAS the first official trailer.

That's not a teaser, nor is it a mood piece. That was an official trailer with official footage from the movie and displaying the final Godzilla in all of his CG glory. The trailer released online was not a teaser, it was the real deal. If you're asking when the NEXT official trailer will hit, then you shuld expect it sometime within the next two months or so.

Actually it was a teaser trailer. Even on the official Godzilla Youtube account, it's labeled as such.

Exactly Duratok. See a Trailer actually reveals plot points and some story. A Teaser only hints at them. This was most definitely a teaser and even Legendary has referred to it as such. Someone mentioned Super bowl... Thoughts?

The Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer is coming then. Maybe a new Godzilla trailer will be released then too.

on the Lego movie or robocop? That would be perfect, 2,months away from the first teaser. Maybe Super Bowl,or just on YouTube. But I think it's not going to be on Super Bowl. Most likely on the two movies I mentioned,and I would LOVE it to be the one shown at SDCC 2013

Robocop is a possibility although that's not made by Legendary. Also why os the trailer not on iTunes trailers yet??

If the second trailer was shown during the Super Bowl, I think most reactions would be: Wow, that trailer looked cool. I sho- FOOTBALL! FOOTBALL FOOTBALL! GO TEAM, SCREW THAT MONSTER THING, BECAUSE I GOT FOOTBALL!
