godzilla's height is 350 feet, 106.68 metres
godzilla is not the hero or the villian (the anti hero) although a far more aggresive one
the new monsters are mostly original
the atomic breath will be blue (possibly a beam also) Edit: Godzilla has his atomic breath (it could be a blue beam as suggested by the 'atomic roar' toy but due to the use of red glows around the monsters it could be a pure red colour)
the film is set in 1954, 1999 and current time
the thing around the warhead on the trailer is not a tentecal
Janjira is a fictional Nuclear Plant somewhere in Tokyo and in 1999 something goes wrong in the plant
Gojira 1954 is the main inspiration for this movie (maybe a little influence from hanah barbara as well)
Japan, Hawai, San francisco and Los Vegas are the confirmed locations (if there are more please put it in the replies) and possibly any country with nuclear weapons
Godzilla was first Awakened in 1954 (possibly by the Castle Bravo hydrogen bomb test) and all nulcear tests after his awakening were actually nuclear weapons used to try to kill him
nuclear weapons have a important part in the plot, they have to be moved somewhere
the Brody family has had a tough relationship after what happned in 1999 in Janjira
that brazil promo face is the promotional godzilla and the one with the body is not fake as it is used on a lot of promotional goods but is not the final movie design
Specualtion/Unconfirmed info
1 of the monsters is a toho monster or a toho inspired monster (this might have been confirmed to be false but i wanted to play safe incase the sources didn't throw that out of the window)
there is more than 1 godzilla (i personally disagree)
the muto monsters (maybe godzilla as well) feed or are after nucler energy and weapons
a muto monster attacked the Janjira plant
godzilla feeds on nulcear energy in this movie
the nuclear weapon attacks on godzilla in 1954 made him more powerful
the muto monsters were enginnered by humans/MUTO to combat godzilla
there are more than 2 muto monsters
the flying muto is rodan

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-02-2014 2:09 PMM.U.T.O. is a shadowy governmental organization with more knowledge about this.
There are unexplained sinkholes opening across the world.
also: the blue breath was only on the back of a toy package. I wouldn't consider that confirmed.

godzillafan1995
MemberMothra LarvaeMar-02-2014 2:15 PMbut the sinkholes were part of the promotion leading to the teaser trailer, it be nice to see the sinkholes in furture trailers/ tv spots or actual film photos. also most of that toy matches the actual design, but then again you are right as well, we can only know when either, someone asks gareth edwards in the QnA the screening of gojira 1954 or when the movie comes out

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-02-2014 2:19 PMdon't get me wrong; I think the blue breath would be cool. I just don't consider toy packaging to be canon. There are still too many unknowns at this point.
In fact, we continue to see red glows related to MUTOs and Godzilla in the actual movie trailer. I would not rule out red breath as a possibility.

godzillafan1995
MemberMothra LarvaeMar-02-2014 2:23 PMwell if it is a red color i hope it is a crimson or scarlet red instead of one that looks like fire, but blue still seems more classic, but we won't know yet, more info might confirm or deconfirm it.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 3:14 PMNice list. I would imagine the toy atomic breath is canon. Don't know why they would change it from what's in the movie. I also think those were MUTO eggs wrapped around the warhead, so it does seem they feed off of nuclear power.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 5:21 PMupdate 1: specualtion- the bones of a monster is a godzilla or the 54 godzilla (i still think it looks like a snake/long monster skeloten)
speculation- this movie is a sequel to Gojira 1954 (i'm not against this but... hasen't that been done enough times by toho)
(most likely) confrimed- Ken Wantanabe's character known as Dr. daisuke serizawa is only going to be a reference to 1954 serizawa (that would be a smart move, then it doesn't make the movie look like a re-make)
Speculation that might be confirmed- godzilla's origin will be a mystery, while he has nearly the same premise of his arrival like 1954 gojira the diffrence is that 1. he doesn't attack tokyo and 2. (the speculation part) he dissapeared for 44 or 60 years (possibly went back to sleep)
DEFINATLY CONFIRMED- no godzilla laying eggs that produce baby godzookies (that's what i called the baby zillas as a kid) that can also lay eggs at birth (thats what worm guy says when he warns the people of the 'danger'
Confirmed: gozilla's fighting style resembles that of bears, komodo dragons and walruses

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 5:31 PMalso i'd like to mention that pretty much this movie is confrimed not to be a remake, as there are people who think that.
