MemberMothra LarvaeMar-01-2014 10:37 AMI'm going to try to say this as delicately as possible-- but its highly offensive to call the concept trailer monster Vishnu-- please stop.
Vishnu is in hinduism, the equivelant of god in Christian religion. Vishnu is the highest of all gods and spirits. Vishnu is a prominent figure in the Hindu religous ethnicity. Calling the trailer monster Vishnu is not only offensive, its degrading to the Hindu religion.
I really don't wanna upset anyone, but the entire reference of Vishnu in the trailer has nothing to do with the dead monster, we shouldn't be calling it Vishnu-- if only to respect potential Hindu godzilla fans.
Imagine, those Christians out there that post here, if someone started calling a villain from the next Godzilla movie "Jesus" you'd probably be pretty offended wouldn't you? Have some compassion. The creature's name is not Vishnu, pleases top calling it Vishnu.
धनà¥à¤¯à¤µà¤¾à¤¦-- which is thank you in Hindi.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-01-2014 10:41 AMI thought it was Talaghan but I was kindly informed that ..umm ya that's not its name either..so lets just call it the comic con one or something yeah?

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-01-2014 10:43 AMSounds like a good idea Evan.
Sadly I don't think Comic-con monster will be making it intot he final cut... probably not even as the skeleton pictured in the trailer.

GODZILLA HIMSELF
MemberMothra LarvaeMar-01-2014 10:45 AM@akagi, i always try to tell people all the reasons that its a 99 percent chance, that it wont be in the movie, they never listen though. of courwse we could see something with a bit of a resemblance but not much more than that
king of the monsters

MemberBaragonMar-01-2014 10:49 AMIt would be cool if this critter (whom I have oficially dubbed the "Moodpiece Monster") was in the film, but its rediculously unlikely. He's so freaking awesome, but chances are his only appearence will be dead and smoldering on his back in the Comic Con trailer. :(

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-01-2014 11:35 AMI heard Bryan cranston named the centipede monster talaghan and a bandai figure of it is going to be released so that kinda means that it is very highly possible that he is in the movie.
