Perhaps this should go in fan works, but seeing as all I did was put it together instead of actually compose the stuff, maybe it's best suited for the Classic Godzilla section? Who knows.

In any case, I've uploaded an hour long, interconnected opus showcasing Godzilla's many themes from each film. Chapter selections are available in the information section on the youtube page.

Indeed I look forward to the next musical take on Godzilla. In the meantime I continue to enjoy all of Godzilla's many themes and variations over the last 60 years. Wonderful stuff:

While on the topic of music I watched Godzilla vs. Gigan today and have to say it's probably my favorite Godzilla score. It was all done by Akira Ifukube but he wasn't hired for the film. They lifted his score from here and there, themes that weren't even made for Godzilla and I'm not sure if he even received payment but the music was so awesome for what is largely a sub par movie.

Huh. Good question. I'd like to find that out actually. I know Ifukube protested heavily against his music being used for the movie, but Toho went ahead with it anyway of course... That information may have been lost in time, but I'd like to find out if he was compensated-- considering his popularity.

That said I love all the music in vs. Gigan. The only times I felt it was out of place was when Rodan's theme would show up.
