BUT if there has to be a Classic Kaiju in one of the sequels, I think they shoud put King Ghidorah in the third film, would be a geat way to end the series.

Personally I'd love to see 100% new monsters in the sequels, that way we the audience wouldn't know how tough they were nor what surprises they had in store for us.
On a different note... Merry Christmas!
I believe in Jesus Christ, who's my Lord and Savior.
John 3:16, Job 41:1-34, Leviticus 18:22

The one Monster they will never use "GAMERA" even though...and I could be wrong, believe Toho owns the company that made Gamera movies, since the big Turtle is more of an Earth defender, would be nice to see Godzilla teamup and fight a King Ghidora type opponent with Gamera at His side.

NEW monsters. All realstic in the way that Godzilla will be. So no aliens or giant robots. All new.

Old school kaiju. I can live with new creatures, but id like too see the TOHO monsters return. Look at the awesome design edwards did for Godzilla. I want too see this new universe be full of awesome TOHO beasts/gods/aliens.

I'd prefer either new enemies or returning to the underused kaiju, I'd rather not see ones that have been introduced too many times and already have enough variations on looks(King Ghidorah MechaG, Mothra, all big nos)

I myself enjoy the new enemy but I would love if anguirus, furnishes, or even mechagodzilla returned.....mothers and thorough are classics but why not use some that need spotlight and deserve it?

I myself enjoy the new enemy but I would love if anguirus, titanosaurus, or even mechagodzilla returned.....mothra and ghidorah are classics but why not use some that need spotlight and deserve it?

All new, no connection whatsoever with the Toho movies/previous Kaiju. No aliens, no robots, no silly powers...

Not trying to be offensive but Id prefer Godzilla's enemies and allies to ultramans anyday...... I mean I loved the design and personality of godzilla's monsters
I would personally love to see an entire cast of new monsters....I'm new here by the way so hi
i think if anything I would wanna see Rodan, and Angirus probly just to play it safe...

Jkzilla I sorta agree....but rodan and Godzilla can't get along in any of the movies so they would be having little skirmishes the whole time
None.
All new Kaiju for an all new franchise. Toho Kaiju have no place in this American franchise.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Toho had no part in the production (nor will they ever) beyond supervising Godzilla's appearance.
Every Toho monster has licenses that need to be purchased in order for them to be used, and Legendary has wisely stayed away from them. I don't EVER want to see a Toho monster besides Godzilla in this franchise. Legendary and their teams have more than enough creativity to turn this into a successful franchise without ever touching Toho monsters. If they do use Toho monsters, it's going to be completely forced and contrived and will be a total disservice to Godzilla fans everywhere as well as a major dissapointment.
Besides, how do you modernize the other Toho Kaiju?
The only one that's even remotely plausible is Ebriah, and he's possibly the lamest enemy Godzilla has ever faced.
As for the others... Let's do a quick check!
Mothra, Megaguirus, Battra, Kamakuras, Kumonga are bugs (been there, done that)
Ghidorah is a three headed Dragon (where could there ever be realism in this?)
Hedorah is living sludge (rip-off of the blob)
Destoroyah is a mutated crustacean that somehow survived being bombarded with the oxygen destroyer (how does that even happen when every lifeform on Earth requires oxygen to live? Destoroyah should never have existed in the first place)
Mechagodzilla is a giant mech (been there, done that ((plus it's lame to just make a robot based on Godzilla nowadays. It's been done three times already. It's dead.)))
Anguirus is a mix between a dinosaur and an armadillo (do I even need to ask?)
King Kong (been there, done that ((several times)))
Biollante is a cross between a plant ang Godzilla (plausible, but so unlikely that it's not really worth counting)
King Caesar is some kind of made up God (really?)
Orga, Monster X, and Spacegodzilla are aliens (been there, done that)
Rodan is Rodan (still don't know if he's a pterodactyl or some othe form of Kaiju/dinosaur thing. How do you modernize something without a difinitive origin in the first place?)
Did I miss anyone important?
Seriously, this whole bringing back Toho Kaiju needs to stop. Godzilla, with his nuclear origin, is still largely implausible but because he's become an icon we let it slide. The rest of the Toho monster cast is inexcusable (again, Ebriah being the exception because it's a real life creature that's jumbo sized). They don't belong in this franchise, EVER!
And for those who are wondering, I am in fact a die hard Godzilla fan. I say these things because I care about this franchise as an American franchise and I don't want Toho to ruin it. Toho did great with what they did, and I love every G movie ever made (98 abomination excluded). But Toho needs to be Toho. Legendary needs to stay Legendary. The Toho monsters don't belong in this franchise.

i would like to see new monster because since its a new godzilla siries, there should be new monsters

Kyero toho did have supervising over the design (not control) and tohos monsters are classic...I mean I understand wanting new ones but nothing was wrong with godzilla's old enemies and allies. Anguirus was a great monster and mechagodzilla was one of godzilla's greatest foes....this movie isn't supposed to be seen as a separate but a equal and add on to the classics

What I want, and hear me out on this, its crazy.
If the movie does well, instead of minimizing Rodan by just making him one of Godzilla's enemies, I'd like to see him regain his glory from the sixties.
Give Rodan his own film with his own enemies, set in the same universe as Godzilla, then make a Mothra movie, finally bring them all together in an avengers style film where they fight Ghidorah.

Mighty imagination but with how people are now and the lacking numbers of fans it probably won't happen....I mean they used to crank these movies year after year but we've had to wait ten years in rumor filled darkness....I like your idea (anguirus should get a movie too) but it probably won't happen ......let's just enjoy these weird muto Things and see how they turn out

BurningGodzilla1995;
And people used to say that "transformers didn't have enough fans to make a movie about" and look where we are at, three crappy Transformer movies and a fourth on the way.
Personally I'm terrified of the movie becoming too popular because I hate the idea of godzilla becoming this mainstream thing filled with fake fans and casuals that pretend that they've always been fans of the genre.
As harsh as that sounds, its just how I feel.
But I can tell you, the cast of this movie is going to put asses in seats. I gaurantee it.

@Kyero....

I definitely want to see all new kaiju in the first one. If it is popular enough to make a sequel then yeah some Toho monsters would be fine but only use the ones that we all love like mechagodzilla, Ghidora, Rodan, Anguiris, you know, the classics. It would be pretty sick if Legendary somehow got the rights to a few of these monsters and did and made seperate movies and brought them all together for a destroy all monsters movie. I know I'm just dreaming but it would be really cool lol

akagi I agree with the whole mainstream thing and the fake fans.....god if that happened I would be so upset.... And I also agree with the face palm
Though I would love if they brought back one of the classic monsters like rodan or angerous im fine with some new monsters!

King Gidorah & MechaGodzilla is a must return in future films. Can you Imagine how they will look now with all this advance technology & post production we have ?? they will be sick!

i know that warner brothers and legendary pictures are going to do a third godzilla movie and it should be about the son of godzilla to battle up against mechagodzilla and rodan to end the series.
I want a mix. New monsters with reimaginings of the old monsters.
Rodan: He is perfect because he has a mysterious origin. If a new origin is made it wouldn't cause a Godzilla fan army to kill the directors of the movie. Rodan could have been a ancient ancestor of the pteradactyls and it lived during the time period Godzilla lived in.
Anguirus: Why not? He could be a ally to Godzilla as long as he is 200 ft or so and if he could do the roll from Final Wars then Anguirus would be even stronger!
King Ghidora: Plausible but would need a very good reason for being alive. A creature that lived in an isolated area of the world during Godzilla's reign and Ghidora has been hibernating deep under the groung and is awaken by Godzilla.
Biollante: Probably the most realistic and most likely for a returning Toho monster.

I would love to see a classic monster from Toho. But since the new film is has a more realistic and dark tone then that cancles out a lot of monsters that have to do with aliens, such as Gigan. But if they were to put any prehistoric monsters like Anguirus, Rodan, Titanosaurus, or even Gorosaurus, then I would be more than happy. In my opinion I think they should end the series with King Ghidorah since he is his arch enemy. Also it would be bad ass to put Mecha Godzilla in there if they could.
