New images from Adam Wingard's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire movie have debuted online ahead of the film's trailer release thanks to IGN! Accompanying the images, IGN also sat down with Wingard to discuss his upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong sequel - and to the appeasement of many Monsterverse fans, Adam promises big Monster action, with many, long battle sequences where the Monsters just do their thing:

We have some sequences going up to about eight minutes long, where it's just the monsters doing their thing, and so the movie really allows the monsters to tell their own narrative in a visual, nonverbal way.

Speaking about the film's new Skar King antagonist, Wingard had this to say:
We wanted to come up with an antagonist that would both be a match for Kong and Godzilla, and that's really hard to do. There's a lot more to this character and how he's a threat, and that's going to be something that's going to be fun to kind of dole out.

The trailer for Godzilla x Kong is expected to drop soon! Check back often for more updates!
