New Godzilla (2014) Movie 'Kaiju King' Poster Spotted!

This is my poster! I uploaded it to my instagram and I believe I broke the street-date. It is definitely legit as it has all of the copyright logos and the \"Godzilla\" font they used is the official movie font, although it is obviously cracked. The top left reads \"Kaiju King\" which translates to \"King of the Monsters/Kaiju.\" Kaijuufin is not the original holder of this photo as it was originally uploaded to my instagram, and if it\'s no trouble, I would like to be given the appropriate credit as well, my instagram name is \"Nuclear_Napalm.\" it\'s good to note that I didn\'t just \"spot it\" I literally bought it and it is hanging up in my room as we speak.

Why does it look like they've given Godzilla gills??

I'm all for updating Godzilla, and of course the suit has changed many times over the years, but did they really have to give him gills?? That's a bit too much in my opinion. I know they are going for "realism," but there are plenty of animals who live in water and don't have gills. I don't wanna let it ruin the movie for me, bu gills??? Really???

He has gills because Godzilla was originally conceived as "The missing link between land and sea dwelling reptiles." He has gills, but he obviously carries lungs as well. It is technically possible for an animal to have both lungs and gills, there just isn't any animal that utilizes it. I respect your opinion, however, I am all for giving Godzilla gills as it helps explain how he's able to stay submerged for as long as he does.

@pm8rsh- Yes he does have gills. Legendary is going for a more realistic Godzilla here, so you saw correctly.

@Huey1N- I think it is a good detail to add. Godzilla having gills (as well as lungs obviously) makes this whole story more realistic because then Godzilla would have to come up for air every once in a while, and the humans would know about him. Plus, no animal, especially as big as Godzilla, can hold its breath for years at a time.

i cant put my finger on it, but something just looks off about it, something seems different from what we see on empire magazine for example,( not saying its fake or anything, so please, dont argue about that with me), it looks a lot like the party supply things, were those official by the way?, i dont recall.

you know what, i am saying this is fake, heres why, one its the exact same picture but with the color edited.

two, the spines are to bunched up and way to high up the neck,

also, notice how there is the title plus smoke covering the area underneath where the body cuts out in th eplate, and the area on the plate where the title blocks part of godzillas neck is totally black with no detail.

i could be wrong but i think this is fan made, still cool, but fan-made

Awful. He looks quite lame and not as terrifying as he should be. And why does his eyes look human?

It is 100% official I promise you. It has all of the trademarks and was made by Trends International, who are a professional company. The color is the same in person, Godzilla himself is tweaked, but tweaked to look better. Look at the Godzilla logo, it's the official logo as well, albeit with cracks as well. I assure you it's 100% real, and it's the only photo of that Godzilla head without looking obviously photoshopped, it's the original frame.

It's real. I know this because I just bought it from the store Spencers yesterday and it is now hanging on my wall! It's awesome.

The poster is 100% real and is awesome looking. It was sold out at the Spencer's stores near me but it's available on eBay now
