S.H. MonsterArts have opened pre-orders for their King Ghidorah (1972) figure in Japan already and have set a release date of November 2025. However, for North American fans residing in the United States, prices for the figure are inflated due to the current tariffs imposed on overseas markets. While Japanese fans can secure the figure for 30,800 Yen (roughly $214 USD), U.S. fans will be paying a 30% markup on top of other fees, with pre-order pricing expected to range between $340 - $360:

Please wait for USA Release Date & Price: Due to the 30% tariffs, we're estimating $340-$365 based on the pricing structure for Godzilla (2000). Prior to the tariff increase the estimated price would have been $260-$280.

The long awaited King Ghidorah (1972) from "Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972)" is now available in the S.H.MonsterArts line! The sculpture and coloring are recaptured by Yuji Sakai, a leading figure in Godzilla modeling. The suit from 1972 is thoroughly reproduced based on various production reference materials of that time.
