Godzilla x Kong sequel adds Kaitlyn Dever to cast + new plot details!

According to a fresh insider report from Deadline Hollywood, Kaitlyn Dever is in talks to join the cast of Legendary's Godzilla x Kong sequel! Not only that, Deadline also provides some new information regarding the film's plot direction:

The new movie is described as a continuation of the franchise centering Godzilla, Kong and an assortment of other Titans. Insiders say that while Kong and Godzilla will still be fronting the film, Legendary is looking to build on its human characters and the first logical choice landed on Dever, whose star has been on the rise for some time. She now joins the franchise as it combines character-driven storytelling with its signature epic scale and Titan-clashing action in Sputore’s vision.

What's exciting about the Godzilla x Kong sequel is that the script is being penned by one of the screenwriters who worked on Gareth Edwards' Godzilla (2014) and will carry on from where Godzilla x Kong left off.
