Monsterverse fans will be extremely pleased with this news! Following on from our previous report about fans calling to Continue the Monsterverse, it appears Legendary are ahead of the game and are already prepared to explore new chapters in the popular Monster saga!

As it stands currently, the Monsterverse has managed to amass nearly $1.8 Billion in Box Office revenue and that kind of figure has inspired hope for the future of the franchise. Speaking to Deadline recently, Legendary CEO Josh Grode teased that the studio "has a number of ideas for more Monsterverse movies" beyond Godzilla vs. Kong:

Now we wait! Legendary will need to renegotiate their deal with Toho, if they haven't already begun to do so, in order to continue to use Toho Monsters in their Monsterverse. Of course in the absence of Toho Monsters, Legendary could make new films based on their own IP but what fans really want to see are more classic Toho Monsters re-imagined and modernized the way Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla and Kong have been!
The future is looking bright for the Monsterverse!
