Godzilla has been nominated for the 2025 Licensing International Excellence Awards! Toho's King of Monsters has been recognized in two categories: Best Live Action Brand and Best Hardlines or Packaged Goods Collaboration. Winners will be announced during this year's Licensing Expo in Las Vegas starring May 20th.

Godzilla was recognized for the Best Live Action Brand category for its worldwide 70th anniversary campaign anchored by Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the AppleTV+ Monarch: Legacy of Monsters streaming series, and crossovers with DC Comics’ Justice League, the Marvel Comics Universe, and Hasbro’s Power Rangers. Godzilla's game appearances in Fortnite, Call of Duty, Minecraft, BrawlStars, Raw Thrills, and Stern Pinball were also highlighted. Apparel collaborations with Uniqlo, H&M, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Billionaire’s Boys Club, RIPnDIP, Brain Dead, and Tokidoki built up fashion appearances. Merchandise collaborations and brand activations and partnerships including the San Francisco Giants, McDonald’s, and Circle K, plus goods with Funko/Mondo, Playmates, Bandai, Super7, Hasbro, Mattel, McFarlane, and Jada Toy rounded out Godzilla's presence in experiences and collectibles.
