Earlier this week filming was completed on the next Monsterverse installment Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Godzilla 2). Director Mike Dougherty teased fans with a few behind-the-scenes set photos to commemorate the film's last day of shooting. Godzilla 2 now enters post-production where the film's visual effects and musical score will be prepared and blended together.
With Legendary's marketing focus currently set on Pacific Rim Uprising, it's unlikely we'll see any reference to Godzilla: King of the Monsters at this month's New York Comic-Con, however they could surprise us with a tease. In any case, as the marketing for Godzilla 2 innevitabely does kick into gear, you can rest assured we will be covering every moment of it extensively, so be sure to keep your browsers locked to Godzilla-Movies!
