I feel like this is what the humanoid Godzillas at the end of Shin would've evolved into if they had made a sequel.

I like the humanish body plan, its a bit unsettling. Which is why a lot of movie monsters use it.

Humanoid monsters are often the most unsettling. There's something creepy about a creature that sort of looks like us, but at the same time are clearly different from us.

Most of my artwork works around that idea. I started leaning into that idea with my goji design, and now i wonder if I should.

Doesn't look very humanoid too me, it looks like an anorexic normal godzilla

 I mean Godzilla has always been kind of humanoid due to being a man in a suit but this creatures just looks like godzilla went on a hunger strike.

A lot of the anatomy looks more humnoind than the anatomies of say, Shin and MV

The bulkier suits purposely put in different muscles to hide the fact that it is a human.

To me i see what you are saying. But the muscle layout is comepletely different.

regarding the muscle layout, that might be so however I just don't see it being more human than the other godzilla designs. It just looks more like a redesign to Godzilla. I mean if you pop this creature into a godzilla film and keep the dinosaur origin, no one will be none the wiser.

It is The chest area especially. Hesei tends to have three muscles on his chest, while humanoin monsters tend only to have two, like this one. Theres more examples. But this one stands out against most goji designs

I concede on the chest design but Toho Godzilla has always had human-like eyes

You are right actually, but i mean more of the build. Idk it just looks more humanoid than normal to me.
