¨godzilla: Annihilation¨ hows that sound? 4th godzilla game in the pipeworks series. everything from the previous godzilla pipeworks games, same maps, same monsters, same looks and a bunch of new monsters alongside the losers from the ign poll for godzilla: unleashed. a HUGE campaign with the factions system, fix broken monsters like king ceasar.
and ¨movie mode¨ you choose from showa, heisei, millenium, monsterverse or reiwa and fight through a gauntlet of enemys from that era.

I hate how disturbingly human they made Godzilla's teeth, I know he is now a hybrid of Evangelion Unit 01 but still...
Thats true, I just worry about critical reception to newgodzilla fighting games. Godzilla (2014) the game did not do very well critically despite being popular with fans.
Just wary of the whole godzilla fighting aspect however fun it is.
But those games could have really good remasters or spiritual successors.
Plus that Shin Godzilla VR showcase made for an interesting idea.
I feel if they mainly took inspiration from Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee and Godzilla: Save The Earth, taking what worked from those games and updating both graphics and gameplay, it could work pretty well.
Godzilla could possibly come to Multiversus, so we may get a semi-Godzilla fight after all.
I like fighting games, but I feel like they are too hard to pull off successfully, and there are too many of them. Honestly I would like to see a more survival game in the city

I just hope that Millie Bobby Brown actually said no to GVK 2 and it wasn't just because of her schedule involving the Russo Bros new film, The Electric State. Because Wingard and the writing team clearly didn't care about Madison.
With Hollow Earth, that was botched far less than Madison in my opinion.
I dont think its the worst thing. Plus for the JP franchise it definitely wraps the themes up in a nice little bow

yeah I'm tired of seeing human villains over shadowing the monster antagonists.
Except it's poorly handled, HinikunaGoji. Human villains are a tricky concept in the particular context of giant...well...things being the main focus of movies.
Xenotaris, I feel like Godzilla 2014 and Skull Island had better logic and didn't retcon previous scenes unlike KOTM and GVK. Also, style over substance is basically VFX and big set pieces being prioritized over important things like characters and story.
As for your thing about human villains, no franchise does it worse than the five Michael Bay Transformers movies. And what's funny is that in the fourth one the worst written human villain is killed by a character whose characterization got already butchered several times throughout the franchise.

Human protagonists surviving being inside a volcanic ash cloud, I like Chris Pratt and his character Owen but realistically he should have fried when the ash cloud got him
With Dominion I didn't like the over emphasis on human villians in that movie
I like the suit pairings, its nice and it shows just how the OG gigan design holds up to newer designs
Interesting that they would pair the Showa Gigan with the Final Wars Godzilla. Looks great either way.
Well really it actually feels like it build the mythology of the titans and preserves everything i liked about kotm as a whole.
Honestly out of the bunch Kotm is by far my favorite. I love 14' to death but i think the attempt and potiential of Kotm was awesome. imo the first 3 films are pretty solid.
