It would be nice if the released the other two collections in sets like this one.
Wtf 2020?!?!?
Amazon lists this as a "board book", like Golden Books. Plus, it's only 20 pages. So, yes, it's just a kids book. Might have some interesting art like the old Random House Godzilla books for kids. They're never too young to start!
Honestly, what turned me into a Godzilla fan was when my friend turn on the 1954 ToHo version of Godzilla. I instantly fell in love with it.
He's not bug enough imo. He doesn't have six limbs, I think it would be cool if they found out some imaginative way for him having four arms, two with drills, and two whatever, but again I'm aware they did movie on a tiny budget. Anyway I think he's unfortunately one of more forgettable monsters.
I think he's kinda cool. I prefer Gigan, though.
I've always liked Megalon. The grasshopper-based design and drill hands stuck out as very unique and cool to young me, and he was a blast to play in Destroy All Monsters Melee. I think Godzilla vs Megalon was also my fourth or fifth Godzilla movie, and the one my younger brother always wanted to watch when we got it on VHS. Admittedly I was never super fond of the actual execution of Megalon's various abilities, especially the digging(how do drill hands work again?), but that's just me being persnickety about giant monster biology, a field that's already too ridiculous to question.
Love the seatopian beetle god. I love the design, but his movie was...deplorable to say the least.

My two favorites?
DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!!!
jk, I'm going with KiryuGoji.
BioGoji is the superior design!!!
I bought this pretty much when it went up on Amazon. Can't wait to receive it.
Of the graphic novels, I'd personally say Birth of Kong is the best. I really enjoyed it and would consider it worth reading.
Genegarg looks exciting. Can't wait to watch Ultraman Z.
Megalon was a product of the times. The Ultraman and Kamen Rider franchises had taken kaiju well beyond the designs seen in the 1960s. Now they were purposefully bizarre, but ultimately hyper-creative designs. In fact, by comparison, Megalon looks somewhat tame. But he's still a lot of fun.
Given Godzilla vs. Megalon was designed to emulate kaiju/tokusatsu elements on television, and was practically made on a TV budget, it's no shock Megalon had such an over-the-top, yet sterile design.
I for one love the design itself--Even if the movie is fairly void of anything substantial.

KingSalomonMMIV, if you're interested in ebooks, and such sections and genres like fiction, fantasy I can recommend to you this pdf books free database, which I use every single time, when I go on vacation and need to download some e-books from there. Recently owner of that website made downloading process absolutely free, isn't it great?..
Absurd design, absurd drill, absurd movie. A robot that can grow in size because ... whatever, Gigan appearing for who knows why. The tail drag attack, so weird. Saw it as a kid and loved every minute of it, absolutely wore it out on VHS.
I could never get into this guy. Or Godzilla vs. Megalon in general, for that matter.
I'm rather fond of that big bug, but completely non-objectively because I stumbled over this movie on late night TV as a kid in the 70s, and that's a happy memory I've carried with me.
That's actually a fairly good price for a model of that detail and size. Kinda wish it was made in US though, buying stuff from outside is kinda difficult right now.
Minor updates here and there. Nice that the Showa Gamera series is getting more love.
Godzilla fighting kicking monster ass
It looks like godzilla will get an updated look
Biollante. Orga never looked like a powerful kaiju.
Lets say Heisei Godzilla and Millennium Godzilla are the same size... Biollante would definatly win. Even though Orga can manipulate powers, it would be extremely hard to use Biollante's own powers against her. Biollante might not have as much mobitily and speed as Orga, but she would be able to hold Orga down with her tentacles, blind him with her sap, bite his head off and pull him underneath the ground. Yeah, it would be brutal... but this doesn't mean Biollante would win untouched, she would win with fatal wounds.
I think the spines might be so thin as a result of bad cropping, but in the end this is an artist's rendering so it could just be how they designed it. Probably won't affect the final movie model much.
New in a loose sense of the word.

@JurassicKaiju14 I think it's just the image for promotion and not representative of the actual Big G in the movie. Same with Kong; he appears to not have much upper lip.
Problem with modern environmentalism is that people want their governments to save the planet for them instead of doing something themselves.
Is it just me or are Godzilla's spines a bit thinner here? They kinda remind me of the MireGoji and KiryuGoji spines, at least a little.
Barb could simply parasite another species and she can evolve with totally differrent, blah...just ignore my comment 0_o
trully remarkable answer sir...salute for you Haruo
Tiamatzilla ...nooo, he's Rodan. There's already a Quetzalcoatl in the MonsterVerse.
I mean, there is that other mystery Titan actually codenamed Quetzalcoatl.
Nice! So Rodan is Dragon Lord Quetzalcoatl!
