Agreed I've been watching a lot of videos lately on this certain topic on YouTube channels such as Alteori,Dangerville and aome other channels and the playmate toys are not that big of spoilers but the Gian Godzilla and the smaller version look different and I do t know if it's a sign of possibly mecha Godzilla or just something weird like with their shin Godzilla toys and I'm curious if there's going to be more than 1 or 2 villain's in this movie if you watched Godzilla vs destroyah yet you might know what I'm about to say what if they're bringing back the only enemy that has really ever killed Godzilla even in one of his most powerful forms ever Destroyah think about it they launch an oxygen destroyer at Godzilla and Ghidorah in the water killing all life of the natural order leaving Godzilla severely injured and in the original Godzilla movie they used the oxygen destroyer on Gojira he "Dies" comes back 30 years later to only be put in a volcano fight a genetically brother and a giant plant monster basically created by Godzilla's cells and the soul of the doctor's daughter in the movie then (sorry for movie skipping) goes into burning Godzilla form (easily stronger than 2019's form) from a uranium deposit basically melts the island junior escapes being followed by his dad or whatever then junior gets grabbed by Destroyah then dropped Dies Godzilla starts crying Skip Godzilla walks to junior gives a little of his energy to junior so he can see him one last time before he dies fights Destroyah then Destroyah tried to escape wings get frozen from the military freezer rays and super x 3 falls right on top of Godzilla then explodes and spreads micro oxygen everywhere killing Godzilla but not before he goes into meltdown Skip junior is revived and is now a adult(junior was supposed to be the Godzilla in final wars but that was scrapped idc what anyone says that's junior in my book) then the series ends there it would be cool to see Godzilla's worst enemy fight the humans,Kong and Godzilla (The Destroyah in the movie was a female just a fact i wanted to add in)

Just a thought, but maybe they changed the name because everyone on the internet kept implying it sounded too much like Godzooki!  :-D

King Kong vs Godzilla.

I was a big King Kong fan having seen it on TV when I was quite you.  More so than Godzilla (which I had also seen on TV), but seeing this at the drive-in at 8 years old.  Godzilla + Kong in color!!  I was hooked.

He definitely went out of his way to kill Katagiri in Godzilla 2000.

Well, not really. GMK is probably the only exception, where he went out of his way to murder people. 

Ohhh, that sounds really need. Maybe you could have another one with Godzilla and Jet Jaguar, doing the dropkick. Or Godzilla using Anguirus as a battering ram.

I'm just not really sure how something like that would work though. Would it need some special requirements to be activated, could it only work with certain characters? Or maybe it's not really a final-move, but something incorporated into their movesets? For example, Godzilla uses Grab on an allied Anguirus and attacks by swinging Anguirus forwards?

I assumed since he was in a lot pain due to his mutations he was lashing out because of it.

Could be cool like in a co-op mode if one player plays as Mothra and the other plays Battra that you could unlock a finisher move that renacts the scene in Mothra vs Godzilla where they team up and defeat Godzilla or other kaiju

Now that's an interesting one. I originally had Keizer Ghidorah and the imago Mothra/Battra as separate monsters, but implementing their evolutions just really fits their characters (Though as of right now, I have Burning Godzilla as a skin of sorts)

I think you should get the choice of which mode you start in (Some people might just want to play as Imago Mothra). The only problem with that is how do I make both forms equal in strength, but still make the transformation not completely useless. Maybe getting some health back, but wouldn't that be a bit unbalanced?

Also, I like that idea for Mothra Leo. I only have her larva and Imago forms (And Aqua Mothra, but in a different way) as of right now, but adding the other forms in some way could also work.

Also have where you power up some kaiju it activates their supermode(s). Like if you play as Mothra's larval form, you could eventually become her adult form. Monster X could become Kaizer Ghidorah. Heisei Godzilla becomes Burning Godzilla etc.

Mothra Leo should have like 4 alt forms.

Xenotaris That's always a must-have on a Godzilla game concept. Whilst I will limit the concept to a certain amount of characters, I am currently including the large majority of Kaiju.

The different incarnations idea is something I currently have implemented in some compacity, though again limited to a certain amount. If it were to be for every character, things would go out of hand quickly. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Have a larger roster of kaiju depicting every kaiju and every rendition of the same kaiju from Showa/Heisei/Millenium/TriStar/Monsterverse/Reiwa.

Yeah...sorry guys I had to click-bait this one. When the "We got this covered" article about the trailer came up I just couldn't help myself, my inner journalist kicked in.

I actually kinda like it. It's weird but cool.

So glad they went with one in the movie. 

It makes sense from certain point for him to look more alien like... But I'm not sure how most of the fans would respond. 

Growing up I was first introduced to Godzilla through the Shogun Warriors toyline (Jumbo Machinders in Japan). Godzilla and Rodan were included in the line. However the main characters in the line were Raydeen, Great Mazinga, Daimos, Gaiking and Dragun. My parents got me the Shogun Godzilla for Christmas. It was one of my favorite toys growing up. 

 Also around this time I was captivated by the Godzilla Comicbook published from Marvel. Issue #3 was my first introduction to Marvel Comicbooks. This particular issue had the Champions facing off against Godzilla. This was one of the books that got me interested in reading comics as well.  

I watched most of the Showa Era films growing up as well as Godzilla 1985.

Also was lucky to get the Godzilla NES game on the original Nintendo.

Right. If WB is planning on doing a good, short ad campaign for GvK, I wouldn't expect a trailer till the end of december at the earliest. I think a debut around Christmas time could work to start off the marketing... maybe it could be shown in front of Dune perhaps?

Back when we heard that a trailer would've been shown at the end of July I was extremely skeptical, and looks like we were correct in those feelings.

The film is still nearly a year away, so I could see an initial trailer popping up as late as the end of 2020.

This is no shocker. Having the trailer debut in front of a re-release of Inception would have not been smart, especially since GvK's release is nearly a year away. As for Dune, I already know that money isn't Villeneuve's main concern; he just wants to put his latest work out in the world as soon as possible, regardless of how much it makes, not unlike Christopher Nolan with Tenet. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I saw my first Godzilla movie probably when i was maybe 6-7 years old back in the 60's on Chilly Billy Theater late night in Pittsburgh pa. Fell in love with Godzilla and brought up nephews and my own son in it and they all love him.

Godzilla is straight up SCREWED here. Gigan and Megalon are a very capable duo, and Mechagodzilla is the main threat here, being a massive powerhouse. Titanosaurus is a threat in his own right, and all four of them working together means Godzilla is NOT coming out of this alive.

It does need to be specified Because it’s a specific kind of Heisei Godzilla. For example look at 84, 89, 91, same monster but very different Godzillas in terms of appearance and feats. 

cant just say “Heisei Godzilla “ if you’re putting him in a match. It’s like which incarnation of the Heisei Godzilla. 

Goji 1984 is the hesei Gojira so, I don't see the need of having that specified.

Hesei usually uses ranged attacks so he'd land his heat ray on titanosaurus, while gigan and mecha G would fly over it. Megalon would dig into the ground under the ray and beneath godzilla. Goji would try to hit the flying kaijus only to have titanosaurus attack hime from the front. The two kaiju would wrestle, and fall into unstable ground from megalon's burrows. While falling, goji would would blast titanosaurus, with heat ray, while it was distracted. This would finish the particularly unmemorable kaiju. Megalon would attack goji from behind with bombs, only to be knocked over by a tail swing. Goji goes to finish of megalon, but gigan takes advantage of this and flies right at him buzzsaw activated. During this megalon burrows underground again. Hmm, and cant think of an ending, but i dont know who will win
