Reminds me of when I resurrected Ghidorah's severed head in my Gojiverse (this was before GVK came out).
Would like to see other members of Ghidorah's kind like Desghidorah, Cretaceous Ghidorah, and Keizer Ghidorah/Monster X
I think bringing King Ghidorah back at some point would make sense. I didn't particularly care for the portrayal in King of the Monsters, so it would be nice to see him more aggressively domineering and less reliant on other monsters.
Eh, there might be a good movie in the Snyder Cut somewhere. But it could definitely lose about an hour and a half to get there.
hes as tall as godzilla... dur
Too fleshed out???? Too fleshed out?????
I would cut 20 minutes from ZSJL but it was fleshed out as it needed to be.
Due to the massive success, GVK accomplished what it wanted to do. Start a new universe, which it will probably get now.
How tall and heavy is Mechagodzilla in this movie?
Remember we’re talk online, not in person so attaching the wrong emotions can be very easy and is done often unintentionally
A lot of people say I'm sarcasm blind, I guess this is one of them moments. I can also be very sensitive at times

I don’t think Gman is very mean. He’s comes off as is because he just words things plainly. Not being rude but just stating something in a phrase as “This is the way it is.” If that makes sense. He also is slightly Sarcastic.
I just realized for my name being SarcasticGoji, I’m not very sarcastic on this website

Silence! I concur! lol (Futurama Reference)
@Gman
Thats very true. Successful Movie? Make sequel. It’s how civilizations have developed. Got a good idea? Copy it.
@Sonic
what is not liked is that it’s completely unnecessary. The cuts are sloppier and it adds much that didn’t need to be added in the first place.
We’re all entitled to our own opinions.
I would like to see Goji not trusting humanity anymore and humanity having to regain his faith.
I think the whole #ContinueTheMonsterverse thing is pretty silly at this point. Why would they not make a sequel to the film that spring boarded the recovery of cinemas all over the world? According to sources it will beat King of the Monsters' total box office gross next week and breakeven soon.
Too fleshed out... I also didn't like the score at all.
OH MY GOD-ZILLA THAT IS BEAUTIFUL
Gman, I see your opinion.
But the character development was excellent, the visual effects were mostly top-notch (admittedly, not as good as GVK), and the score was amazing. Plus, the story was fleshed out and it didn't feel at all like the piece of trash we got in 2017.
Yet it lasted FOR FIVE SECONDS
I hope Godzilla 3 continues his antagonistic arc.
I was glad Godzilla was the antagonist in this movie. For the first time ever in a Monsterverse movie, it felt more like Godzilla and less like Gamera.
Yes Godzilla vs Kong was the greatest film of all time and I hope they do continue the monsterverse but I am still upset they killed King Ghidorah in KOTM. The treatment of the war bats was also disappointing
big cool tin can man :)
I liked the movie, I was hoping for a team up so we can get more Godzilla and Kong movies without killing off the other guy
Forgot to mention that the fights between Godzilla and Kong are complete bullshit.
heres my question: did you intend for mecha,g to have more abilities aside from his rocket fists and lazer beam?
For me, the biggest thing is I REALLY want to learn about the myhology of the Titans. Backstories are hinted on but not really expanded on; 15min more in GvK would've addressed this.....aaaargh. I also really really want to see Biollante, Angilas and Destoroyah pop up here...I feel they're both credible and would fit in with whats gone before. DNA from Maia Simmons' remains would make for a vengeful beast, and the OD used in GKOTM has already birthed Destoroyah? Angilas? He need no reason! :-) Fingers x.d we get more films, as a 54 yr old fan I feel so blessed to have seen Hollywood give is FOUR all expense sfx laden kaiju spectacles...but like Hedorah...I always want more ;-)
Hi Kiefer here, i have a question, when the director gave you the role of designing mechagodzilla what came into your mind? Also was the monsterverse's mechagodzilla's design based on any japanese mechagodzilla or any specific era was it inspired on? Also why is mechagodzilla color scheme red what made you choose that color?
Xenotaris,
I am being nice. You should see mean.
I don't mean that in a mean way, just can you be a little nicer?
G. H. (Gman)
No need to be a condescending misfeasor
Obviously only serious questions will be considered for this interview. Thank you so far to those who have submitted good questions - keep them coming!
To those few obsessed with whether or not a robot has reproductive appendages... try to find some maturity and common sense. You need to be at least 16 to use these forums and if your activity suggests to us you don't meet that requirement, we will be locking accounts.
Xenotaris,
Because writers know what a dictionary is.
sonictiger,
I pretty much explained it above. Snyder had no accountability. He indulged in a conscious decision to put all of the scenes in a 4 hour action picture with a borderline similar story to The Avengers and had no care in the world over the fact that it stifled the pace of the film and several scenes were unnecessary.
For example, why did Aquaman need two introductions? We got the picture with one just fine. Why was it necessary to introduce Barry's powers twice? His Iris rescue made no sense--Now she knows who he is. His introduction with Bruce would've been perfectly adequate. And then there's the end epilogue was overtly long, pretentious and completely unnecessary. I didn't appreciate sitting through an extra 30 minute commercial to a movie we're not going to get.
Snyder didn't care if he was doubling up on story beats he didn't need. He was just throwing paint at the wall. Not to mention a whoppingly stupid 22 minutes and 7 seconds of the movie was in slow motion. Which is unnecessary anyway. The more you slow down action sequences, the less dramatic the effect is. But if slow motion is the reason your movie too long, that's a big problem.
Also why should the audience be concerned about Darkseid? It's never a good idea to set up your Thanos-level villain with a defeat by a guy who Wonder Woman beat her solo film. Just send her to finish him.
I have a question. So did they build MechaGodzilla to look like Godzilla for Ghidorah to have a better frame of reference on how to control the body or does APEX have some weird jealous obsession with Godzilla going on?
I never got why critics use those words, it just seems to me that critics like using big hate words for movies they don't like but what do I know I'm not a professional movie critic I'm just a fan
Where/How did you come up with the idea of the weapons Mechagodzilla was going to have?
