Personnaly, id love to see a character like Varan updated, but still keep him at his roots. As long as he is still simmiliar to, well, varan.

No Mecha-Godzilla?! Oh hell no. Mecha-Godzilla would be perfect for a Pacific rim and Godzilla crossover.

I just dont see Mothra in the Godzilla 2014 franchise, because the movies in this new series are going to be realistic, not TOO realistic but realistic enough to make it both awesome and understandable.

No. Mothra is NOT the monster you are looking for. Move along! Even as a child, watching Godzilla movies in the drive-ins, I despised that awful, giant, screaming moth and her stupid twin fairy godmothers. That Japanese mysticism stuff won't work for a North American audience. Sorry. Mothra was DUMB. I won't pay for a movie ticket to see Mothra, and the general audience will be confused by it's appearance. Like, "a giant, screaming moth? What the hell kind of monster is that?"

Remember how Biollante came about? Might be a good idea for Legendary to have another fan contest to create a new villain for the Big Guy in the next film. I just hope they don't EVER do Mothra. I hate that stupid, giant screaming moth and it's little fairy godmothers. That kind of mythological stuff might work for Japanese audiences, but it won't fly here. Pun intended. I always liked that two headed dragon from outer space, though. Can't really say Gedorah was "underused", however. Still, it was by far the coolest monster besides Godzilla itself.

My first godzilla movie was the terror of mechagodzilla. I was more into mechagodzilla at first til I seen that godzilla had alot more films. I was 3 at the time now I'm 18 but I'd say mechagodzilla got me into the godzilla world

I think Mothra could work as a mutuation. If they kept her all mystical and stuff, I don't think anybody would really care. The larva could be still be brown but they should add some more color so it's more caterpiller-like, along with making her slimmer and maybe giving her some poison needles like some types of caterpillers have. The imago form could keep the same basic design for the wings but have everything else more realistic looking and moth-like so people could actually recognize her as a moth.

You do know that the other monsters in this movie are going to be completely new, right?

I realy like to see Anguirus! he's very awesome and have the same history of Godzilla, it would be a grat opponent in a first movie...

I never really cared about the big bug monsters like kumonga. they've always been my least favorite kaiju. its like an easy route out when they cant think of something original "lets just do another big bug"

who the hell cares about mothra she is just a big stupid bug I cant stand mothra at all yeah ok she is colorful and has her priestesses and has a little power to her but the last I checked Godzilla is still better and here is the main facts mothra, rodan, varan, gamera, king ghidorah, even all of the other monsters would not exist if it weren't for the king of them all godzilla

It doesnt matter what design they choose, because in the end, people wont take the idea of Mothra serious. But i wouldnt mind an awesome looking Mothra, as long as she is still Mothra

i don't think mothra should be a mutation that's not what I meant. I think she should have a design like maybe armored mothra or eternal mothra from her own toho movies. I don't think she doesn't belong, they just need something to make people take her seriously.

And yes, i consider Mothra as one of the best thought, most interesting and all around great kaiju. Yes, Godzilla is TOHO`s deifning kaiju character. I just find myself liking Mothra alot more. And, if i didnt know who Godzilla were then why would i even be here in the first place.

You cant. She needs to stay Mothra. There is no way you could change Mothra into something that would work in this kind of dark movie. SHE CANNOT BE CHANGED INTO MUTATION, the element of mysticism and magic must be preserved. She is one of the greatest monsters in the TOHO franchise, even better than the big G.

Hmmmmm not exactly what I meant. I mean the minor bug monsters are way to big to be a swarm, the minor bug monster was said to be big enough to attack helicopters and had a frill like a lizard(godzilla DNA mixed with bug DNA or parasites that got attached to Godzilla cells that fell off godzilla's body and mutated into bug/reptile like monsters?

Dude godzilla is going to be in CGI, its been confirmed a long time ago.

Godzilla Twisted Earth Story: 10 years into the future, strange aliens appear over Earth and wage war with the humans. In a vicious and bloody battle, humanity is nearly wiped out. The aliens then begin to capture and brainwash several of Earth's monsters and terra-form Earth into a replica of their dying planet. Unbeknownst to them, however, former psychic/G-Force member Miki Saegusa has formed a team of the remaining humans to combat the aliens. The remaining Earth Monsters team up as well, and come together with Miki's force to prevent Earth's mutation and liberate the monsters. Adlerthekaiju, It's wayyy too early for King Ghidorah. Plus Legendary currently only has the rights to Godzilla. I think Gigan would be pretty cool to have in the later films.

My ultimate monster movie would be called: Rise of Bagan The heroic monsters would be Godzilla, Godzilla Jr. Gamera, Mothra (including Twin Larva), Angiurus, Rodan, King Caesar, Ultraman, Baragon, Varan, Jet Jaguar, Red King, & King Kong. With the help from Gotengo. The villainous monster is not other than Bagan. The fighting on Monster Island. Battle to Save Earth. Most will survive, others isn't going to make it.

This may be cheating, because i have two idea, and one of them doesnt star Godzilla. The first is: "IguanaSaurus", which is a remake of the 1998 movie. This would be a kids movie. In this movie, we meet IguanaSaurus (Zilla). He is a bored out Kaiju living in an underwater cave outside New York City. He has always been ridiculed by all the other kaiju`s he have met. But news has it that his greatest idol, Godzilla, is coming to chrush New York. Excited, IguanaSaurus goes to town. And there, the people of New York mistakes him for Godzilla. This gives Iguana the chance to finnaly live out his dream, but this soon takes a turn when the real Godzilla comes. All sorts of shenanigans happen, he help Godzilla defeat another enemy, learns an important lesson and THE END. My second, and alot more serious idea is: Godzilla: Great Kaiju War. This movie stars Godzilla as, um, Godzilla. In this movie, an alien race attacks earth with the help of their deadly flying saucers, there two mercenary kaiju`s, Gigan and Megalon, and other alien kaiju`s like Orga, Zilla (He is indeed on the enemy team), And so on. But the earth kaiju`s fights back, and eventually fight King Ghidorah, a terrifying planet destroying pawn of the aliens.

I don't know, Godzilla had to have help to beat both of them. Keizer Ghidorah can drain Destroyah's power, but Destroyah can use his oxygen destroyer powers. I would have to say Destroyah because he has more weapons. Keizer Ghidorah only has those gravity beams.
