The Showa Series Godzilla fought alongside Zone Fighter and later helped him destroy Gigan after MechaGodzilla. The Showa timeline ends after that:
Godzilla and Zone Fighter vs. Gigan
Godzilla and Zone Fighter vs. Wagilar and Spylar
After that he probably lived the rest of his life in peace.
Ya but it's late and I'm a bit off...oh ok I see but I've always wondered bout the hero Godzilla...what happened after he fought mechagodzilla
I explained above he wasn't erased from history. The Futurians are the ones who accidentally created the Heisei Godzilla. Did you even bother reading?
Look I know he wasn't supposed to be in there but I'm just thinking bout the whole time travel thing....funny how people remembered Godzilla when he was "erased" from history
I always thought they would've ran with something like "The King Returns in 2014" or something to that effect.
The tagline could change too, as the marketing picks up.
He doesn't exist in the Heisei series. So he wasn't anywhere the whole time.
I think I really liked the one on the fan made poster that was going around that said " A king's arrival is never silent."

It's Godzilla, and he's gonna thrill ya'! I'm, of course, joking.
Got it...but ya...just wait until the movie comes out that should be interesting
I was just wondering where he was all this time
This one instance is yeah, hahaha. I doubt this will be the last time trolls try their luck here. It's bound to happen from time to time. Just keep doing what you're doing and be cautious of new info. And if you ever feel off about a member, let one of us staff know! ;)
First off, why are you wondering what happened to the 1955- Godzilla in the Heisei series? It's in a completely different timeline from the Heisei series and neither series have anything to do with each other. The Heisei series is a reboot just like the Millennium movies.
Second, the original Godzilla is NOT the Heisei Godzilla. The original Godzilla was killed by the Oxygen Destroyer and doesn't show up in any other timeline except the retcon in Godzilla x Megaguirus. The original Godzilla was NOT the Godzillasaurus on Lagos Island. The characters in Godzilla vs. Destroyah even point out that the original Godzilla in the first movie and the Heisei Godzilla are two different creatures.
Here's the Heisei Series timeline:
1944 - The Futurians travel back in time to transport the Godzillasaurus they think becomes the Heisei Godzilla to an ocean trench. The mission is successful.
1954 - Bikini Atoll tests awaken the first Godzilla. He rampages Japan and is killed by the Oxygen Destroyer for good. The Oxygen Destroyer awakens pre-cambrian lifeforms.
mid-1970s - A Russian Nuclear Submarine sinks in the ocean trench the Godzillasaurus lies and mutates it into the Heisei Godzilla. (The writer, Terasawa, finds this information in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah.)
1984 - The Heisei Godzilla awakens and rampages Tokyo before being locked in a volcano.
1989 - The Heisei Godzilla returns and goes on a destruction campaign in Japan. He fights Biollante and is forced into hibernation by Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria. Godzilla cells make its way to outer space.
1992 - The Futurians trick Japan to go back to 1944 and moving the Godzillasaurus. When they return, the Heisei Godzilla awakes from hibernation and swims back to the area he was created. He absorbs the nuclear energy from a Japanese submarine and grows 20 more meters from it. He fights King Ghidorah and is later defeated in a rematch.
1993 - The Heisei Godzilla is awoken by an astroid and seeks Mothra and Battra whom eventually defeat him.
1994 - The remains of Mecha-King Ghidorah are salvaged and Mecha-Godzilla is built. The Heisei Godzilla fights both Rodan and Mecha-Godzilla, defeat them both and takes in Baby Godzilla.
1995 - The Godzilla cells in outerspace mutate into SpaceGodzilla. He comes to earth to fight the Heisei Godzilla and is defeated.
1996 - The precambrian lifeforms in Tokyo Bay evolve into Destroyah. Bass Island is destroyed in a massive explosion-- the radiation overloads the Heisei Godzilla into Burning Godzilla and mutates Little Godzilla into Godzilla Jr. Burning Godzilla meltsdown after fighting Destroyah and Godzilla Jr. mutates into an adult after absorbing the remaining radiation from his parent.
END OF TIMELINE
The Showa Godzilla from 1955 has nothing to do with it. And the original 1954 Godzilla is not the Heisei Godzilla.
Admittedly, a lot of this stuff is hard to catch because much of the Heisei series is so poorly written, but it was the intention of writer Kazuki Omori who directed and wrote Godzilla vs. Biollante and Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and wrote the screenplays for Godzilla and Mothra: Battle for Earth and Godzilla vs. Destroyah.
Thanks....but it's good this is over
@BurningGodzilla1995 - Cheers! I will be adding new Moderators soon to help with forum spam protection and general moderation. I'll keep your offer in mind. :)
king ceasers is actually pretty good
they should make it the one of the first characters you have because hes pretty much the weakest and youll really want to try hard to unlock the others
http://youtu.be/-JFfN5pKzFU that is my opinion of Tristan and the fact that they tried to ripoff Godzilla
He is not a top monster of mine either Shawnzilla
Except, as I mentioned before, Regenerator G1 and G-Cells are only a confirmed power of the G2K and Heisei Godzilla's respectively.
Some fans really need a reality check with the whole, "he can't physically die," thing.
None. I want the title to say everything you need to know. And it does.
I think the Godzilla Roar in Godzilla Vs Mothra is pretty cool
The old Gigan is still classy IMO
i loved the cartoons so i cant hate on zilla too much.
True if itt had a different name it would have been gewd
I guess it's because The Tristar Film IMO was a joke by giving him the Godzilla name. I never really llked him that much!
never was a fan of gigan. did not like the robotic cyclops lizard chicken look. he was too comical for my tastes.
King Godzilla not to be mean but CALM DOWN!!!!!
@King Godzilla That's kinda harsh don't you think
I mean the movie was horrible but the monster was kinda interesting
Lol
Yea i think if they gave him powers or put zilla jr. with atomic breathe it would be cool to unlock him at the end of the game
Zilla needs to dissapear from the face of the earth period SMH!!
XXSABER LOL! yes... Never! mess with Godzilla!!

Nothing can destroy Godzilla, Regenerater G1 makes undestructible! that's why he is the King Folks, Bow Down to his greatness!
Godzilla's height, according to Gareth Edwards, is only going to be just tall enough to make him the biggest Godzilla in films. He compared the way he increased his size to the way skyscrapers outdo each other by small margins through the years such as the Chrysler building and the Empire State building. His Godzilla is likely only going to be in the realm of 101-140 meters in height.
He will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, be as tall as the building in the trailer. It's a trick of the camera angle, and he's much farther from the 555 building in the trailer than he appears.
Anyone who thinks he's as tall as the 555 building needs to have their eyes tested and go through a photography class and perhaps some geography classes.
Superman and Gorky have nothing on Godzilla...the only known thing to work is a meltdown within himself and the oxygen destroyer
It will not be Megaguirus.
There are not Toho monster in this film beyond Godzilla.
Why?
Legendary never bought the rights to any other Toho kaiju. They all have their own licenses, but they only purchased Godzilla's. Toho themselves were only supervising Godzilla's appearance. They had no other involvement in the prodcution.
There are no Toho monsters in this film except for Godzilla.
End of story.
Godzilla is a living creature, and as such he can be killed by many things. Some of them are what you'd expect, others are not.
He could be killed by any monster capable of inflicting grievous wounds and preventing him from finding a safe place to recover. If he bleeds out, he's done.
He could be killed by an object striking him in a vulnerable place such as the base of the skull or the throat right beneath his jaw. He might be a kaiju, but he's got skeletal weaknesses and muscular vulnerabilities all the same.
He could be killed by anything that starves his lungs of oxygen, as we all know he requires oxygen to breath when out of water. Beneath the water, whatever kind of breathing aparatus he has (likely internal gills) needs to be cut off to drown him.
He could be killed by a large enough meteor striking him directly due to the pure speed and mass of the object. He's tough, but not touch enough to wether such an impact. And for those who think the Monster X meteor hit Godzilla, it didn't. It blew up before hitting the ground, and Godzilla whethered the explosion, not a direct impact.
He could be killed by nutrient starvation, keeping him away from any and all sources of sustinence such as radiation or any other kind of food intake he is capable of using.
He could be killed by (as stated by someone else above) the sun enlarging and absorbing the Earth and thus destroying it.
There are more, but this is where I'll stop the list for now.
