I really want Biollante. But maybe they can use Destroyah to kill off Goji for a few years and then resurrect him for a Mecha Ghidorah battle...
My idea for Biollante:
Godzilla: Desolation
Godzilla wins, Biollante gets a G'14 like death.
My idea for Destroyah:
Godzilla: Destroyer of Worlds
Godzilla dies, Destroyah wins but is killed by a 2nd oxygen destroyer
Destroy All Titans, Part II (The Titans were decimated by Mecha Ghidorah with major titans Kong, Rodan, Mothra, and Gamera still alive with more titans dying by the day.)
Godzilla is resurrected but the world is in chaos due to the mechaking and so MONARCH resurrects Goji and Gamera will have died to help this process but anyways Monke, Big G, Fire Boi, and Moth stop the robo-ghidorah and they win.
My story pitches.
It would be nice to expand on Kong and Jia's friendship and learn more about that....

I think it would be really cool to see Kong interact with more of his kind. Considering the fact that Kong has been alone for most of his life, it would be interesting to see how he reacts to the social structure of his species.
Do whatever you have to. It's definitely important to take time for yourself, especially in this screwed up time we're living in. Hope that you can return in the future...
Thanks for your feedback SarcasticGoji and G. H. (Gman). I may switch around a few things. I always thought that DaM took place at 1999 also but couldn't figure out how to get it there with the Gorath moon problem. Maybe I can pretend the DaM moon is a moon of Mars?

I agree with you Gman, cool for a movie for kong in the next sequell. Godzilla vs Kong was like a movie about kong, well yeah Kong needs more movies and stuff u said Gman.
Wow, I'd really love to see 3 of those classic Kaijus. I don't know who to pick but mostly Biollante or Destroyah by the Oxygen Destroyer. Aliens invading sounds kinda weird for the monsterverse but still cool. or maybe like another alien monster rises from the ground like Ghidorah, that'll be cool.

Biollante really deserves some time in the spotlight again. She's one of the best things to have come out of the Heisei era, yet hasn't appeared in anything besides comic's/books.
Heck, I've even made a whole topic on why she should appear in the next movie and Micheal Dougherty (Director of KotM) has even shown interest in including her if given the chance. Though maybe a title like 'Godzilla: Force of Nature' would work better as it refers to both Godzilla and Biollante (Like how KotM refers to both Godzilla and Ghidorah).
According to supplementary materials some version of the events from Gorath took place in the Kiryu Saga--But that's an issue since you plainly see the moon in Godzilla x MechaGodzilla.
Additionally, the Kiryu Saga supplements claim Maguma appeared in 1962, when the events of Gorath don't even start until 1976.
It's possible it's only referring to the monster in that timeline though. EdCh, I noticed this was left out of your continuum splits.
Another thing I noticed is the events of GMK actually take place in 2004.

Just got done reading your Godzilla '54 and King Kong vs. Godzilla analyses--Loved reading the attention to detail you gave to the evolution of what you call the "Fury" theme. I compiled a video based on that specific motif's progression here.

A Kong movie is the smart, safe and obvious choice. Both of Legendary's movies with Kong have preformed better than the solo Godzilla movies and from a critical standpoint, Hollywood just seems to handle Kong better. I think diving in with a follow-up to Kong's adventures in the Hollow Earth is very wise if that's the path they choose.
But if Wingard returns I would hope he omits his, "politics are out the window," mantra. He doesn't need to necessarily inject government politics, but any would do: Socio-politics, scientific-politics, eco-politics--The list goes on. He's orchestrated the structure of a giant monster movie, now do something relevant with it.
To me it seems that the 1999 detail is too big to ignore, I would rather change Gorath to be later, or earth got a new moon.

BTW a few years ago I did fairly thorough track by track analysis of Ifukube's Showa Godzilla scores. I probably need to do his Heisei scores one of these days...
In addition to the Showa and Heisei film chronologies mentioned above, I completed something for the Millennium series. Naturally, since these were all reboots it ended up as 10 films split over 7 chronologies...
Still, it was a fun exercise to do try and make sense of all this.

I'd be kind of cool for Gigan to have a similar body to 04 but have a similar color scheme as Showa? That's just me being bias towards Showa Gigan though.
Bio without the Godzilla/Human hybrid element would sort of defeat her purpose as a character, but seeing SP do that with kaiju like Hedorah I guess that's not a stretch.
