oh it is photoshopped. but still the Muto,s claws can,t be green. i heard some fans say that Muto,s claw is grew
I wonder if the mutos kill their own creators
Probably Bryan Cranston or Ken Watanabe. I want to see how they act in this kind of movie.
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Taylor Johnson. I love both kick ass and Malcolm in the middle.
It looks photoshopped.
Here's the picture for other people. And @Draco187UM how to attach pictures is to do a right click on the picture and hit copy. Then when you want put the picture in hit Ctrl+V and it will come up.
INSINCTIVEGIGAN@ dude the picture is not photoshopped i think this is a Muto claw
That's so photoshopped it's not even funny, that pic is from the movie Splice.
the claw is green???? so that means the mutos colour might be green possibly
That is a lazily photoshopped image of a scientist from the movie SPLICE and some bug claw. It even says so below the image.
@ShazoTheHedgehog
Armenta can't seem to find the caps lock button, so I wouldn't bother explaining to him proper cinematic tone.
@LaminatedEffect
Yes. It would compromise the movie.
...other than it being a really dumb, goofy song.
K try this sorry http://www.everythingkaiju.com/
Sorry Idk how to attach images on here try this, http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Zx2Wyd4C9I4/UskHUS4B9iI/AAAAAAAAM6E/4QqMkj_BShc/s1600/Godzilla_2014_MUTO_are_Lab_Monsters.jpg
As silly as it sounds I'd like to see them use "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult. Granted it'd probably compromise the movies more serious tone..but still.
@ARMENTA
Those suggestions (except for the Pacific Rim) wouldn't fit for a Godzilla movie. They are too Hard Rock, especially the first one. A piece of music that would fit is a type that would put people in fear. For Example, say when your watching the movie on the big screen (especially in 3D), you want to be able to think: "Holy Crap, that giant lizard is destroying everything in sight! What if I were in that scenario?!" In that moment, to add on to the thought, the music itself will add on to the fear that you and everyone else in the theater will have. The music is the key to expressing a certain scene in the correct way.
KYERO I was kind of against you for awhile until I read your whole post, and I gotta say I get you. And GODZILLA HIMSELF U did realize that Gareth Edwards NEVER confirmed that he's making a sequel based off of Destroy All Monsters right? And true its not gonna be based off Destroy All Monsters it would just be something similar to it to have the kinda same feeling of lots of monsters rumbleing. But finally all Gareth Edwards said was that IF he was ever to make a sequel, he would make the sequel similar like Destroy All Monsters, not some kind of remake of it or somethin
I got one;
Theres a super classified island somewhere in the ocean where M.U.T.O. have already been mutating monsters and putting them there for some reason I havent thought about yet. Then idk if Godzilla doesnt die in the movie they trap him over there too, or if Godzilla does die then a baby of Godzilla may be taken over there, and then all of you know, theres some kind of problem that occurs that makes all the monsters run loose to fight eachother and go to the cities ;)
You used the scenes in a very effective manner. Well done!
lol zilla the true american godzilla yah right lolololololololololol
That's amazing, love it!!
i dont think this wont happen, but if it does, it will be 1998 again. you guy known how that turned out.
very nice! thanks!
Oh woww haha that was AMAZING good editing btw
LMAO! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Omg haha that is amazingg, never talk out the true GODzilla.
This is hilarious. I burst out laughing when I read it.
Wow......I viewed this on deviantART EXACTLY before it was mentioned here......weird........
Funny! Just like hulk and loki
I'm kind of relieved someone made this thread. With all the stupid comments floating around about how people think this will be the best Godzilla movie without seeing it, questions like these force people to check their expectations.
I don't think this movie is going to be bad, but lets face it, Gareth Edwards is largely an inexperienced director and he's never been tested in Hollywood. This is his first attempt.
Lets also not forget that an early draft of this script was written by David Callaham who wrote such trite as Doom and The Expendables.
But Edwards is a visionary filmmaker, as proved with his movie Monsters, and I love it when studios hire new blood. Plus Max Borenstien and Frank Darabont also wrote later drafts, and that bodes well.
Plus the cast is fantastic. Everything we've seen so far deviates from Blockbuster norm and the '98 flick.
So we have plenty of hope that the movie will be well done. But I'm glad a thread was made about some doubt. It's one of the more realistic things said around here.
I'm pretty sure this film will be a Blockbuster, If anything alot of effort went in to post production to make sure this film does not become irrelevant like the Tri-Star Godzilla film. I wouldn't worry let's just enjoy the ride.
Well, with that in mind, perhaps a remote and unknown island or possibly even island chain could be utilized, whereby any surviving creatures have been relocated to it for further study due to their exotic properties and nature-defying biology. We may even see some familiar faces from Godzilla old in such an event, having been hidden from public eye, with the likes of Godzilla and the initial MUTO creatures escaping containment a few years prior.
The Superbowl will not feature a Godzilla trailer. It's too close to the release of the first trailer to be effective. If anything, they'll just show the first trailer if it even gets a slot. However, so far there is no indictation that Legendary will nab a slot for Godzilla at the Superbowl. If they haven't made a move to do so yet, it's highly doubtful they'll do so at all.
Guys, there is not, nor will there ever be a Destroy All Monsters sequel.
Gareth Edwards said he wanted to explore the concept of "Monster Island" that was USED in Destroy All Monsters.
He never, at any time nor in any interview, said that he wanted to base a sequel on the actual film Destroy All Monsters. He said Destroy All Monsters was his favorite film of the Showa series, true. However, I'll say it once more: Gareth Edwards NEVER said, at any point in time nor in a single interview, that he would base his sequel on the movie Destroy All Monsters. He wants to explore the concept of "Monster Island" which was used in more than just Destroy All Monsters.
Godzilla vs. Megalon, Godzilla vs. Gigan, Zone Fighter. All of them used Monster Island in some way, shape, or form as well and yet none of them are the basis for a sequel anymore than Destroy All Monsters is.
You're misreading and misinterpreting information which spreads false rumors and creates debates about topics and ideas that will never see the light of day.
Learn to pay attention to detail guys. It's not that difficult.
There is ALWAYS a chance that a movie that looks like it'll be good turns out to be horrible.
No matter what the trailers make it look like, no matter how good the cast, there are always movies that bomb at the box office because they spent too much time on visuals, too much time on an overly developed and incoherent plot, etc,.
This movie, so far, seems to be on the right track to becoming a solid film. Since we haven't seen any full scenes or heard and full fledged dialogue snippets, there's nothing that tells us whether it's going to be amazing or not. Small and simple snippets of dialogue and brief cuts of scenes can actually tell you quite a bit about the course of the moment which is being displayed. But, for now, we have nothing to go on. Godzilla looks quite good, the cast seems to be well outfitted and into their roles, and the production team is solid.
I've got high hopes for this film, but until I have a better idea to go on, I'm going to withold judgement.
Maybe, but I saw Gareth Edward's other movie Monster and it was pretty good for a low budget movie. Sure I didn't get the beginning and end because the beginning is a flash back of the end, but it was still pretty good.
for a destroy all monsters sequel i would like to see godzilla,anguirus,rodan,and at least 3 new monsterrs andnew designs of rodan and anguirus and for a villain i want to see mechagodzilla
Maybe M.U.T.O. Research ignores what happened to the world when the Mutos escaped and reecked havoc on the world and continue on making monsters, but this time on an island so they can't escape, but they make aquatic Mutos and they escape driving Godzilla to go to the island and Destroy All Monsters.
