MIKEYNAMEZ, thanks! Always appreciate good comments! Also, the only reason I have it over 3 min, is because I wanted to set it apart from other short fan muto vids...but hey, to each their own!

Not bad at all dude.  I agree though and would remove/distort the clover referance around 1:14. Also i think its a bit long but other than that great job!

You did splendid on the video! It was quite intense, and it put the clips from the two teaser trailers to good use. I do have to agree with GOJI2014 though. The Cloverfield clips felt out of place. If you could some how distort the clips to be more like the ending clips, then it would be a really good video. Everything else was perfect. I especially loved your voiceover. It really added a sense of dread to it, making it quite terrifying.

This might be troll post or might not be, but if this is your honest opinion, whats wrong with it?  If you don't like the design, DONT WATCH THE MOVIE. If you ask me, that design is spot on. It might not be the same as the original, but it is comparable to other designs. This specific design trumps all the others because of its REALISM.

you have 4 months to get used to the idea of a Godzilla with that design, I recommend you do it, because they will not change the design.

A new, upgraded MechaGodzilla, bigger sized Zilla, and a couple new ones would be cool in upcoming Godzilla movies.

InstinctiveGiganGodzilla ForumGodzilla vs Slattern

Look at their weight difference, Slattern is almost twice the height of the tallest Godzilla and he weighs nowhere near his amount, that just shows how much more powerful Godzilla is compared to Slattern. In addition the nuke he survived was a pretty weak nuke if Gipsy Danger sincerely survived standing hundreds of meters from it.

Not sure if this is a troll post or not, considering that some people really do think this. However, even then, this post is extremely cringe-inducing. The reason for why this reboot(not remake) is being made is pretty obvious: To show the majority of the public what the original Gojira stood for (a reminder of mankind's mistakes in science and nature).

1. How does it look anything like 1998? Just because there's a scene that has rain in it? Everything, from the quality of the actors to the cinemotagraphy, not only looks drastically different from 98, but also a lot better.

2. How can you already tell that the "face is all off" when we don't see it at all in the trailer? Shit, we barely see his body in the aerial scene, and the pan up shot at the end of the trailer was merely a silhouette. And in that silhouette, we can see that there is a clear change between Godzilla's neck and his cranium.

You're either a really bitter,cranky,and/or old G fan, or in the most likely case, a troll who's trying to get a rise out of people. And that didn't really work, seeing as the most you got out of me was me thinking that this was a really uneducated observation of a film that we've seen a couple of production shots of and one teaser. Might as well delete this discussion post, seeing as how the G fans that DO get angry over this sort of thing will be coming in hordes.

I never think of zilla when I see this one, and its suppose to  make the 1998 film completely forggetable and in order to do that is to not use any elements from zilla.

and if you really were watching the movie info for over a year, you should notice that his full body is not 100% revealed to us yet, best evidence that we all had so far is the official toy that we've all seen and it looks very like Godzilla and I hardly see anything out of proportion from that small figure.

either you are trolling or just reacting prematurly Just saying.

I made it. I sculpted it myself. I dont work for Warner Bros. I'm not a professional sculptor. It is not an official protoype. I posted the pictures on flickr to share on Tohokingdom forums. Someone edited and photoshopped my photo and put the "property of Warner Bros Inc." mark on it.

I don't have all that much of a problem withe the 98 movie so I doubt I'd care all that much if it wasn't as good as most people are expecting.

As long as it's at least slightly enjoyable I'll be okay

If other Toho monsters were to be brought into the Legendary continuity (which won't happen), I'd want to see the more 'realistic' ones, like Anguirus, Rodan, Baragon, or Varan.

GODZILLA HIMSELFGodzilla ForumGodzilla vs Slattern

a second nuke would likely have killed slattern, nuking godzilla can only make him stronger, and remember in g vs megaguirus he survived a black hole( i know some say it was a small one but there is no such thing, a singularity is a singularity no matter what, what they basically did was focus what i belive is called the event horizon). as far as sheer strength goes, godzilla definetly takes the cake, although he has less volume, he is much heavier, sometimes notably even heavier that what king of zombies said. seeing that godzilla has thrown around even heavier enemies  than himself, stattern would be a rag doll to him.

Definately Godzilla because he is much bigger, regenerates, and has Atomic Breath.

I would want Biollante, Orga, Megaguirus, Destoroyah(all forms), Gigan, Titanosaurus, Rodan, Anguirus, Space Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mecha King Ghidorah, and Baragon. Also some new monsters would be cool to see along them.

ZodgillaGodzilla 2014 ForumA second trailer?

The Super Bowl would be probably too early, date-wise, for a movie coming out in May, but if you're trying to reach the largest audience, it would make sense. The SB is the single most-watched television broadcast in the US, year after year, but at the outrageous cost of running an ad during the SB, I don't know if WB/Legendary will do it.

Unless I'm mistaken, the first trailer hasn't run on television yet, only online....??

ZodgillaGodzilla 2014 ForumWhich Actor/Actress are you most excited to see in G2014?

Cranston and Watanabe...

I can't wait to see how Cranston handles this type of role, after Breaking Bad for 5 years; definitely the other end of the spectrum!

With Watanabe, I'm curious how he'll play Dr. Serizawa; probably alot different than the original role in the '54 film...

ZodgillaGodzilla 2014 ForumWhat If?

My reasons for optimism were fueled by the cast, trailer and tone that is set for the film, however...

There's always the "movie-can't-live-up-to-expectations" factor, which can make it nearly impossible for a movie to deliver.

The one thing different on this case is how conscious Gareth Edwards is of not 'screwing this up', and the near-universal animosity over the '98 abomination...

I actually made a discussion describing in full detail my own personal version of a Legendary Pictures Gigan.
