There is something about Godzilla and the number 4.

Godzilla released in 1954 (the letter 4 at the end)

the amount of people that went to the encounter was 1954 people

and when the teaser was shown at the hobbit 2 trailer it got on top 4th most searched film on imdb back then.

and this magezine page is on number 4.

One movie you left out was Pacific Rim which Legendary had a big part of. Godzilla will have a human plot, it's an american film, but he will also have stardom and there will be fighting monster and destruction.

Although I do think that Godzilla will be nuked in the movie (mainly because of the large bomb seen in the trailer and the one seen being transported on a train in a set photo a while ago, as well as the fact that it is incredibly strange that that has never happened in the 28 previous movies), the clip in the end of the trailer is definitely not a post-nuking shot, since there are clearly several buildings still standing around him, which would have been annihilated if they were that close to a nuclear explosion. It is most likely from somewhere in the middle of the movie and is after the miltary carpet bombs him or drops an MOAB.

I don't think it's fair comparing a movie franchise with 1 of a comic book due to the sheer number of issues a comic book comes out with a year. In about 3 years a comic book series can come out with as many issues as Godzilla has movies in 60 years. That being said of course characters will return and have a chance to be done in different ways, as the amount of issues released allow almost every villain to be completely explored rather than the Godzilla franchise where only Ghidorah and possibly MechaGodzilla getting different directions of character scope.

As I said he's been done every way, but you can't add to him too much without just making him an unstoppable machine that he basically is already. True you could explore the character from the human perspective, but Ghidorah himself would stay the say as a past incarnation. You could literally put almost any monster in that scenario and just give them the rivaly in that particular movie.  True Ghidorah would have a past, but it doesn't seem he directly hates Godzilla with such a passion he would track him down since everytime they've met he's either been under some type of control, or like in Ghidorah the Three-headed monster, or GMK that the other was just threatening one's territory. The characters are considered rivals because TOHO's forced it down our throat so much that Ghidorah has to come back every few movies to fight Godzilla because of character popularity, which once again is largely due to TOHO forcing Ghidorah on us. Any monster could be given a rivalry with Godzilla and shown through a human perspective, and unlike Ghidorah you could actually add to a different monster where Ghidorah would stay relatively the same.

Although i agree that the marketing team isnt doing their job well..It's like they're sleeping on the job..But i dont think this movie gonna flop..Not very succesful,yes maybe in US,but flop like percy jackson,inkheart,ghost rider..I think not..Moviegoers isnt just North America you know? in Indonesia they're looking forward on Godzilla more than Transformers..Which kinda sad,since i happen to like transformers also

Woa, woa, he said absolutely nothing about confirming a director's cut. This is how rumors get taken as fact. Not trying to be an ass, just saying that it blatantly says he doesn't know if there will be a director's cut. I'd love one but let's not get our hopes up.

I just saw videos of komodo dragons fighting and bears fighting and it so cool godzilla should fight like them but if he does he will bite alot

There will absolutely be no Pacific Rim and Godzilla crossover AT ALL.  But the Monster Island is a good idea for a sequel, and I would totally like if theyd do it, but only if itll make sense and connect with the 2014 movie very well.

To be honest I actually dont mind if Godzilla has a baby. But the problem is, a new species, but mutated species shouldnt be able to have babies cuz after being mutated by radiation.

Just like a liger, you know, half tiger and half lion, cant have babies. And ik its not really a mutation, but point is, rare, new, or crazy species that come cant really have babies because something could be wrong inside them to not let them have babies due to a mutation or somethin.
