In the original Godzilla (1954) Godzilla only has about 15 minutes worth of screen time. But his presence was felt a lot longer.
Really, I don't care how much screentime Godzilla gets as long as it's all well made. A good movie is a good movie. As long as it's compelling I won't care or notice how much screentime Godzilla gets.

but he is moving... maybe is sleepwalker...
Gojira2K, just the same as over here.
i would like a show that isn't too kiddy and cheesy and if possible one that is a ainimated adoptation of the toho godzilla movies.
I'm going to make believe you didn't say he was sleeping
He's down to 43... KEEP IT UP DON'T STOP!!
46 % for Godzilla. Yesterday it was 30 %. Keep Voting, we can beat this Vampire crap.
skreeonk that, do like the late great Eddie Guerro and cheat 2 win!
Yo, no cheats, we don´t play like that.
I´d like a cartoon like Justice League, but with monsters, Godzilla is Superman, the lider, Mothra as Wonder Woman, Cthulhu as Martian Manhunter, Clover as batman, Zilla as Flash and King Kong as Green Lantern.
Or maybe a comedy, like The Simpson, the Looney Tunes or Tom & Jerry, just replacing the cjaracters with Kaijus.
the humans trying to stop godzilla and the monsters that fight him.
with nearly two days more to win, i think we might just have this one. if we do indeed win, then it looks like tracers is next, i read what its about and it sounds like a weak plot to me, but it is beating the muppets and i know that plenty of people like the muppets so im not sure how next round could go.well, lets hope for the best!
It already did with the MUTO Research website. But with the toys, it's like the other two above me said.
in all of those movies I mentioned, the presence of those beings is always there. And just that is more powerful than a clunky and exaggerated brawl. Whether it be Alien or Cloverfield, the monster is there and you know it, and it makes their appearance that much better.
i think the amount of screentime(if thats what you mean) for godzilla will depend on how long the movie is total, if its a really long movie, for example like king kong, than pherhaps he should have at least 30 minutes of clearly visible screentime. as far as godzillas presence, well i think he should be there kind of in the shadows for a very large portion of the movie.

Guys, guys, a challenge soon may be mockingjay, another movie also based on a book and with a lot of fans too, and....things are gonna really need lots of Gfan support for that too so for now let's keep doing what we're doing for GODZILLA
@Akagi Thanks for saying this. I'm sorry. I'll let the fantasy go.
I dont get the all the hatred that people spew at Cloverfield. I mean, yeah, they barely showed the monster at all but the movie wasnt about the monster; the movie was about how normal people would cope with trying to survive being thrown in the middle of a giant monster attack in a major metropolitan area. of course, the idea of someone filming the entire experience with a digital camera without the battery running out is ridiculous, but how else would they acheive the tone they were looking for? Cloverfield is kinda like the walking dead in the sense that TWD isnt about a zombie outbreak, its about what lengths people are willing to go to in order to survive a zombie apolcalypse. ok im done ranting about something completely off topic, sorry lol.
4,4,4 THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST (xD)
Vampires are fucking emo douche bags, i cant stand vampires anymore but that movie is probably gonna beat Godzilla cuz there are a lot of emo douche bags these days
I heard about it at the end of 2010, when it was called Godzilla 2012. I was really exiteded to see an new movie and I was really annoyed by all the fan made trailers. I think for a short time it was set to be released in 2013, before they changed it to 2014.
If you have time, keep voting for Godzilla, we're getting closer.

March. Thats where the toy companies are allowed to show of, so maybe late into march. Maybe in the middle of march if we`re lucky.
Indeed comic books span beyond 28 interations, but the fact that Batman's rogues gallary keeps returning and writers continue to find new ways to use them actually supports the fact that they can still continue to do more with King Ghidorah. Damning an idea to having nowhere to go after impressive longevity is admiting that solid writing can't save it. I don't think that's true at all.
As for King Ghidorah's rivalry with Godzilla I think it was established very well in the 1960s. He was so popular that he returned immediately after his debut movie and was toted as the big baddie during the climax of Destroy All Monsters-- which, at the time, was suppose to be the final Godzilla movie.
Saying "Toho is responsible" for making them arch nemesis is true, but kind of a no brainer. DC has made the Joker Batman's arch nemesis. Paramount has made Khan Kirk's arch nemesis. Daiei has made Gyaos Gamera's arch nemesis. It's out of a combination of popularity and usage of these characters, no different from any other.
The MPAA censors everything dude. Its life, they are like health inspectors, they HAVE to find at least one thing wrong with everything they look at or they get in trouble.
You need to watch the documentary on the MPAA, I believe it is called "UnRated"-- its all about how they purposely deconstruct films. Its their job and no amount of whining about it will stop it.
But I can guarantee you, whatever is cut from the film, will probably make it into a DVD, so you can calm down keyboard warrior.
Because saying the F-word randomly in movies plus sex scenes makes the automatically uncampy!
DO PEOPLE REALIZE how badly an R rating hurts a films preformance? I mean honestly; the wolverine DID TERRIBLY compared to the other wolverine film, which had a Pg-13 rating. R rating for something as RISKY as a godzilla film... specially after how bad pacific rim tanked. Never happen dude. Let the fantasy go.
You're not going to get to see a Godzilla movie where he eats babies and nuns while stepping on couples as they have sex and yell the F word a million times.
What's your username over there?
I first heard it in mid 2009, I was going through the internet doing God-knows-what (I don't remember), when all the sudden I saw the first Legendary Godzilla concept art. At first, I thought it was just a big joke somebody was playing, but soon enough, it turns out Legendary really IS going to make a new Godzilla film, and I got worried then - not like now, where I'm just so reliefed that Legendary is truly sticking with the source material - because the last time America did a "Godzilla" movie turned out to be the biggest, most UGLIEST piece of monkey scrotum I've ever seen in my entire f#%@ing life, but when I gave that concept one look -- ONE LOOK was all I needed to know that Legendary wasn't going to screw this one up, and they have not disappointed me so far. :)
Hahaha wow. Nice find, thanks again for posting! I'll get this up on the homepage once the Total Film article makes its rounds. :)
