GODZILLA HIMSELF

personally,i actually liked the cartoon spinoff of g98, even though i don't count zilla or anything to do with him as truly godzilla, it was still a fun series. i think that if you replaced zilla with godzilla(duh), gave it a darker theme, and tied it into the new movie(so maybe the monsters could be coming from the same place, the sinkholes pherhaps?) it would be a pretty cool series. so i would hope to see something similar to that, but what do you guys think a good godzilla cartoon would actually be like?

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-18-2014 11:23 AMI´d like a cartoon like Justice League, but with monsters, Godzilla is Superman, the lider, Mothra as Wonder Woman, Cthulhu as Martian Manhunter, Clover as batman, Zilla as Flash and King Kong as Green Lantern.
Or maybe a comedy, like The Simpson, the Looney Tunes or Tom & Jerry, just replacing the cjaracters with Kaijus.

HOWEVER...Instead of a cartoon series, what about straight to dvd animated movies, done in the same way as the Hellboy: Animated movies?. Those we`re entertaining, but still kept a dark tone. Kids could watch them, but it was clearly aimed at older fans. I would love that.
With a cartoon series, they would have to limit Godzilla ALOT. But in a straight to dvd movie, they wont have to ridicule themselves.
