For me I found the lack of proper story in Pacific Rim its biggest downfall...so I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to....but as for Godzilla, since it'll be sticking with the original there's really gonna be some drama,but to see Godzilla and other monsters in action for a time like this will be epic either way..
Is it okay if I do an Orga as well? I love my Orga! <3
Trust me, judging by everything we've heard thus far, there will probably be too little monster in the film.
I find nothing wrong with Pacific rim's high action concept, I wasn't bored at all watching it. I have a feeling I'm going to be a little bored during this movie though, not digging the whole constant "HUMAN DRIVEN DRAMA" crap that is being shoved down our throats.

haha, ive known about that dino nearly as long as ive known about godzilla, gojirasaurus was like the top dog of the triassic. ive been into dinos since i was a little kid, so i remember seeing titanosaurus when i was like 5 and thinking" wait a sec! i thought that name was taken!" turns out though that the godzilla titanosaurus was made up before the real animal titanosaurus was discovered.
good stuff, the size is off in the Godzilla/ Ginormica one though

Probably a triliogy. I doubt there will be a dozen. I also have a feeling that this might just be a stand alone film without any future sequels.
This is how I made a killing with Skylanders, buying a toy that is available in one area, then selling it to people in other areas for twice as much. Some people are willing to pay a bit extra to have something first, electronics are a perfect example of this. You can get a 360 now for under 200 bucks, at launch it was 400.
Just how things go. Oh well, I see nothing wrong with people profiting off collectors who are willing to pay a bit more. If they get their figure and the other person gets their money, there are no losers.

I've seen this before. It is a really cool dinosaur.
Since this is an intro movie I can see the fear that to many monsters could destroy the movies plot, and have a spiderman 3 type deal, but having 3 monsters, 2 of which seem very similar and can have a backstory done together, is fine

Most anticipated movie of 2014? Let's not overhype this and get people's hopes up. Just because 1 source put it as their #1 does not mean other sources put it much lower, or it didn't make their cut at all.
I see the chance this movie gets a sequel, I mean even the 1998 version made a large amount of money before it's reviews and word of mouth cut it's profit down quite a lot. Then again the 1998 was marketed much more so I guess I can't really compare them.

@AKAGI I'm pretty sure their films are actually made to appeal to people like you, who watch them to laugh at how bad they are. I mean, just look at Sharknado, it's obvious just from reading the title alone that it's intentionally meant to be So Bad, It's Good, sort of like Troll 2.
