Another Godzilla Jakks Review - Strange Battery Slot/Speaker Vent

Speaker vents and a battery compartment but no speaker? Interesting. He could be right and it was taken out for cost purposes. Maybe they tested the toy on some youngins and the new Godzilla roar was too scary for them?

The whole toy feels incomplete without the sound effects :(

They could have at least removed the speaker holes and the battery pack. It makes me very angry! >:(

He looks great! :D I can't wait to get my hands on him!

I had a Heisei Godzilla toy from the "Godzilla Wars" line that also had the speaker holes and battery pack but no speakers.

Trendmasters used the same mold for toys with and without speakers. The ones without speakers were sold cheaper.

This video was great!  That dude was cracking me up!  I can...not... WAIT TO FIND THIS GIANT FREAKING THING!!!!  The whole "sound" thing is interesting, and although it would have been cool if he roared or even glowed blue in his mouth or somethig like that, this guy is gonna be breaking the bank for me as it is.  But I've got me a pile of Godzilla 2014 money burning a hole in my pocket, and this dude is destined for my collection no matter how much he costs!  Now if I can just FIND him... :)
