I hate the #Rodanconfirmed thing because it's a perfect example of kicking people while they're down and being a complete online bully.
The whole #Rodanconfirmed thing was started by Rob on E.T.N. as a joke that was meant only to reference the fact that it was the single longest and most talked about 'confirmed' rumor for a time. However, it's since been turned into a hateful and spiteful 'joke' on those who thought Rodan was in the movie. It's kicking them while they're down and being a bully, and I hate that.
Please, leave the #Rodanconfirmed thing where it belongs: in the garbage and out of your mind.
It's a worthless hashtag that no longer means anything except "I want to kick the Rodan believers while they're down even now that they know for a fact that the were wrong."
Don't use it.
Iris will NEVER be in this movie, and I consider this entire thread a troll on the FACT that the Mutos are confirmed to be all new monsters.
Also, you misinterpreted Gareth's sequel idea which may or may not even be what he wants to do anymore.
He said he wanted to do a movie around the concept of "Monster Island" that was introduced in Destroy All Monsters. He's not goingn to create a Destroy All Monsters duplicate. He wanted to explore the Monster Island concept that was used in that movie.
Learn the difference please.

He's kind of right. It a pretty tacky poster compared to the theatrical ones: All that neon coloring and overdramatic lightening. And they do copy and paste that Godzilla head on to anything they can...
Not something I'm rushing out the door to buy. It's good for the younger kids I suppose, but I'd prefer one of the theatrical posters.

He is right. Poster is teriible. Looks almost like some photosop fan-art. Wrong proportions, size. Neck is connected to the torso gust with wrong propotions and side. Cheesy low quality effects and airport. And NO tail and NO spikes. LOL. I'm so wondering - how can you say about this what it's amazing?

@mosugoji09 Thats awesome. I was even looking in all of the photos for easter eggs but couldnt find any. I read your comment and looked at the pic and i was like "man this guy is full of crap." then i googled each kaiju and looked again and i clearly see Godzilla's eyes and his mouth and even teeth on the left. Then directly below the Muto the dark gray cloud is in the shape of one of Ghidorah's heads. then on the right i had a hard time but i think i can see mothra's eye.. maybe..

by the way guys if everyone here remembers Dr. Yamana's speach that if nuclear tests were still conducted than it is possible that another godzilla will appear meaning that the 1954 godzilla was not the only surviving member of its species :)
remember guys the producers of this film know that screaming children will want to see this movie so they had to make it appropriate for them as well :)

well if you stop to think about it 15 years ago the natural disaster happened which if you put your mind to it 1999 is the same year that destroy all monsters takes place in the movie, godzilla 2000 was released, and also the same year gamera 3 the revenge of iris was made and released O_O meaning that iris is a mixed breed.... i doubt it but a few little points i would have liked to made i mean this godzilla movie is after all doing a 15 year span from now until 1999 like i keep saying though all will be revealed in good time :)

i always thought that the 8 legged muto resembled that of iris myself but mixed with kumonga in a weird way it would be nice to see godzilla fight iris but that is not the case here in this movie :(

i don't understand why some fans 'want' an r rated godzilla, yes it would be a nice surprising change, but all i ever see in rated/+18 movies is that they include too much blood, sex and super strong language (f words and that), i'm sure a producer said that there will be good amont of dread and death but it wont affect the rating they are hoping, which means that it will most likly be pg13, also tell me what the american age rating was for The Dark Knight
also alot of r rated/18 movies have are also really cheesy, so a mature rating doesn't mean that it will have a darker story. i mean seriously, GOJIRA was a dark movie with powerful scenes, guess what rating it got in the UK, a PG rating which i think is the equivalant of PG13
